When you see "authentic" Chinese cooks/chefs coming out of the kitchen to eat their own lunches, you know it's gonna be good. Luk Foo is one of the most underrated Chinese restaurants in Manila, but, hot dang, it's really good. Can't complain at all. Well, okay, maybe the wait service could be better, but it's no biggie (for once).

Always reliable luk foo! Excellent chinese food with accesible branches. No need to venture all the way to greenhills or ongpin for good chinese food. We ordered a set menu for a table of 12 for our recent dinner there.

For years, Luk Foo was the only good Chinese resto in the area. Countless special occasions have been celebrated here. Our usual orders are: Dimsum Platter, Sweet and Sour Pork, Beef Tenderloin Chinese Style, Crispy Noodles, etc. The quality of the food has always been consistent. I don't remember having a bad meal here. Luk Foo is still an old reliable. I just hope they would do delivery soon.

Food is great! Appealing for adults and kids. they have combinations of vegetables and meat or vegetables and fish that are cooked perfectly. Best for heavy lunch or dinner.

I must confess that this is only the second time I have eaten at Luk Foo! But no regrets!😊On a very rainy Saturday night, I decided to pass on going to a Christmas party... EOTW LEVEL re: rain!!! So my bf picked me up and I asked to eat somewhere which serves soup! I actually suggested Luk Foo as I see it whenever I pass by Commonwealth Ave... (duh) I was pretty curious!😁So we ascended a steep incline and had no trouble parking because there were slots reserved for the restaurant patrons... We were seated on a booth and even before we were handed the menu, my bf was like-- Luk Foo fried rice... Ummm, okay, must be good as he was so insistent about it... LF fried rice it is!!! But soup didn't go with it, so I decided to forego the soup and let the bf choose... He wanted the salt and pepper spare ribs...As my bf obviously has great taste (😉), I sat back and waited for the food to be served... He was right! The LF fried rice was good! Lechon macau, breaded shrimp, chicken and broccoli sat on top of the rice... There was peanuts, veggies and shrimp mixed in... The salt and pepper spare ribs went well with it... I enjoyed the meal and would gladly come back!😃 Service was quick and okay... No complaints!😊

Good food and good service always consistent each time my mother wants chinese food. If you can order their steamed lapu lapu it may be pricey but worth it. The only problem is getting a parking space because of they do share it with puregold.

Luk foo has always been a safe choice for me and my family whenever we're craving Cantonese food. I usually order crispy seafood pancit, pechay with squid, lemon chicken, hot shrimp salad, fish lips soup and the green soup. Last night however, we opted for the set menu and it was satisfactory. I wish I ordered my usual but now atleast I know which ones to order and which ones to skip.

Never been disappointed the 3rd time i went here.My staple soup each time i go here is spinach seafood soup. Each time i see a different Chinese resto or joint, i always asked myself - Is it Cantonese-style and got the same quality of taste like Luk Foo?
