When Life Gets Complicated, I wine " so goes the motto of Little Winehaus.I would not mind adopting that motto myself haha . Hey Im a vino-cheese lady more than a beer-pulutan one. That is not to say they do not serve beer in the premises. They do. They serve Stella Artois Draft beer. You can heave a sigh of relief gentlemen...

As a testament to how diverse the establishments at 2 Lazcano Place are, there is also a Wine & Tapas place that offers a little solace for those looking to unwind over a few drinks after a long day.. The aptly named, Little Wine Haus. .        The place has a classy lounge feel to it, without feeling to stiff. When the piped in music kicks in and the drinks start flowing, Little Wine Haus will become your default drinking spot of choice.

Memories of wine cellars in Europe can be seen in traditional and contemporary settings of natural stone. Brick walls; barrels made into tables and traditional decors mixed with modern lighted menu brand and modern paintings. Little WineHaus started on August 1, 2016 and since then they boasts of wine of red and white varieties - Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Pinotage, Malbec, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Prosecco, Rosé and Moscato (the last two are my favorite). They also have wide range of cheese compliments the wine. Other house specialities include: Caviar Pie (call ahead to reserve only a few available daily since it's perishable), Jamon Serrano, Callos Di'l Brats, Wagyu Cubes, Cheesecake and Dulong. CURRENT PROMOSCHEERS Php 615Choose one: Obikwa Chardonnay (2016), Merlot (2016), Queen Adelaide Moscato (2016) or Frontera Moscato (2016)Choice of: Lil Winehaus Cheesecake or Mushroom ala Pobre or Lil BratsCHEERS Php 895Choose one: Nedeburg Pinotage (2015) or Cabernet Sauvignon (2016)And LWH Cheese CakeCHEERS Php 975Casillero BrutChoice of: LWH Cheesecake or Chocolates & nutsCHEERS Php 1045Choose one: Casillero Merlot (2016) or Cabernet Sauvignon (2016)Choice of: Hungarian Sausage or Edamame or Dulong or QuesadillaCHEERS Php 1075Choose one: Arrogant Frog Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot (2015) or Nederburg Pinotage (2015) or Cabernet Sauvignon (2015)Choice of: Jamon Serrano or Caviar Pie or Callos or Wagyu Cubes or SalpicaoThe caviar on the caviar pie wasn't as salty though.

My friend and I decided to unwind in this previously unfamiliar place after seeing this caviar pie on the menu... and boy! it did not disappoint. Now whenever I look back to that evening, I’m flooded with wonderful memories of the good service, friendly staff, warm ambience and unique experience. The small place is just right for a cozy time of shared stories and burdens. I’m definitely coming back. ❤️

I'm a big fan of any establishment that serves wine, cheese and my favorite Jamon Serrano. The Little Wine Haus at 2 Lazcano Place is a quaint little shop that offers a sophisticated experience despite being in the generally laid back environment of the Scout Area in Quezon City. With traffic reaching new heights, I'm glad a northerner like me does not need to venture far to have a cozy place to sit and have a sip of quality but not over priced wine. The tapas served here are also worth mentioning. My friends and I tried the Lil Bratz, a platter of small cocktail sausages that served as a great savory companion to the tart wine. The highlight of the menu is the caviar pie. A small round of onions, eggs, and cream cheese is topped with some black caviar. It has all the classic condiments usually found in a caviar spread. The difference is that it's already stacked together in pie form. It is easily spreadable on the crackers that are also provided. I personally like my caviar to be a lot more briny and flavorful but I'm glad to get a chance to have some in such an accessible location and at only Php250 per serving (about 3 inches in diameter good for sharing between 2-3 people). I'm definitely looking forward to hanging out here again very soon. They also have beers on tap so even non-wine drinkers are welcome!
