Dined here a couple of times because it's near our house and our office. I've tried eating breakfast here and I'm recommending the bangus and longganisa. It's not your ordinary breakfast. Believe me, there's a reason why the other breakfast diners also order the bangus and the longganisa. For lunch, I've heard so many good things about their manchurian wings. See how they're compatible when they rhyme? Good things, manchurian wings. It lived up to me and my friends' expectations. The beef fried rice is also a must try. You can order it with anything and you'll have a happy tummy when you're done eating. I've tried others like their squid and crispy dumplings and they're equally as tasty. Their service is fast and they tell you how long it will take for the food to be served which is not a practice for other restos. For ambiance, I like that they play classical or jazz music. Not too loud and perfect for chill eating or a small meeting. Parking space is okay because they're beside 2 gas stations. They sure live up to their Legendary tag line.

What I really like about this restaurant is their environment, especially their comfort room. It's both for males and females, but it's really clean and well-maintained by the employees ❤❤❤We ate dinner here yesterday. We ordered Manchurian Wings, 16-Spiced *something* Pork, Yangchow Fried Rice (for 2-3 persons, but once you see it served in front of you, you'd say that it's actually for 4-5 persons), and Hunan Lomi. Their Hunan Lomi was fine. It's not that bad, but not the best lomi in town either (I'm not really a fan of lomi, I'm more of ramen fan haha). Their yangchow rice was also fine. I really liked their manchurian wings and the pork that we ordered. It's very tasty!

Solid chinese food and a bit edgy too with dishes like manchurian wings ans 17 spice spareribs. Service was prompt and they open early which is good for breakfast people.

They said that Lido Cocina Tsina is one of the oldest establishments that serves Chinese food. However, they are really famous for the Pugon-Cooked Asado.Ambiance - 3.0/5.0Honestly, this branch needs to be extra careful with how their restaurant is in general because it is located beside a gasoline station and sometimes it is really distracting if you smell something stinky or if you are generally sensitive with how an establishment smells. But, to be fair, the staff maintain it and keep it clean. Also, the tables and chairs have good distance from each other.Service - 4.0/5.0The servers are attentive in general and they make sure that as you take that seat, they will greet you and give you a menu. Also, someone is gonna serve you water. I appreciate it because they set expectations of how long they will prepare your food.Food - 4.5/5.0My favorites are as follows : Pugon-cooked Asado, Nilasing na Lechon Macau, Chicken Wings and their Coffee. To sum up my review for the food : value for money wise, this is the place to have that "Chinese family dining" experience in a very Filipinized way already.Total - 3.83/5.0Rounding off - 4.0/5.0

For 80 years Lido Cocina Tsina continues to provide one of the Best Chinese Pugon-Roasted Asado and other Chinese favorite cuisines. During our lunch we were able to try some of the bestsellers of the restaurant:🍜Hunan Style Lomi for Php230.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5🍜Manchurian Wings for Php305.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5🍜Beef Broccoli for Php310.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5🍜Drunken Lencho Macau for Php320.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5🍜Pugon-Roasted Asado for Php320.00 (1/4 kg) - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5🍜Lido’s Siphon Brewed Coffee - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5🍜Buchi for Php105.00 (5pcs) - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5🍜Lychee with Tutti Frutti for Php95.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5I like the Drunken Lechon Macau and Pugon-Roasted Asado, still my favorites. First time to try the chicken wings and surprisingly, the flavor of Manchurian Wings was so good. The coffee and buchi blends together, it’s a good pairing.Overall, it was a good lunch at Lido Cocina Tsina. The service went well, though it was a busy lunch and still they managed to provide good service.#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️

It is quite unlikely, and for some reason, I haven't tried Lido Cocina Tsina since I was a child. I kinda grew up going back to the same old Chinese fast food chain and some others during parties and gatherings. Glad that it wasn't too late to realize that there is more to Chinese food than what I grew up with. Lido has been in the country for a very long time, even before the world war 2 and it was brought about by a Chinese chef who began all of this by making a Pugon Roasted Asado and the rest is history. We visited one of their branches at QC along Mindanao Avenue and tried most of their best sellers. Since it was after my shift, I am a bit tired already and what is good about Lido is they serve Siphon Brewed Coffee. Perhaps it's not what you normally see in a Chinese restaurant but I really enjoyed sipping through that cup of full bodied aromatic coffee - no wonder customers loved this. As a starter, their Lomi is really good which I thought better than a Batangas Lomi and huge serving is a plus factor. For the mains, we got Manchurian Wings, Omelet, Drunken Lechon Macau, Beef Broccoli, of course the Pugod Roasted Asado, and don't forget about the Lido Fried Rice! The Manchurian wings seemed to be the crowd favorite because of it's sweet and tangy flavor something similar to a Buffalo wings, Chinese style. You'd regularly see a Beef Broccoli in a Chinese cuisine and it was a perfect side dish for the meat. The Drunken Lechon Macau should be good when eaten right away so you can still bite that crunchy texture which is better coz it can become chewy afterwards. Last but definitely not the least, the Pugon Roasted Asado is the bomb! I love Asado which means I love sweet savory flavored dishes and this made me eat a lot of rice! The meat is succulent and perfectly roasted - surely a must try for everyone. We would not end our visit without desserts!!! We had their Buchi and Lychee with Tutti Frutti Jelly. I am a sucker for Buchi and whatever Buchi that is, especially the one that is freshly cooked, hot, filled with monggo or ube, I would be able to eat a bunch! The Lychee is refreshing and a nice palate cleanser after a scrumptious meal. You must also try their four seasons as they are using all fresh fruits in season. Overall, our visit was superb! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the food is worth coming back. Kudos!

This is my second visit to any Lido branches. My first ever visit was early this year at their E.Rod branch and was fortunate enough to get invited to this branch which is near my place. Anyway, I was really impressed with the manager's knowledge with the history of the restaurant and the food that was prepared that day. FUN FACT: Lido CocinaTsina is one of the oldest Chinese restaurant in Manila. Shrimp Foo-Yong (Php 390) Chinese omelet with veggies and shrimp. Good for 2-3 people. A lot of us enjoyed this dish cause it was soft and the sauce was sweet and savory which was perfect with Lido fried rice. Drunken Lechon Macau (Php 320) Another dish i like, the skin was crispier but had more fat than meat. Beef Broccoli (Php 310) you got to have some veggies in your meal plus I love broccoli so I was stoked to have this for lunch. Huge chunks of fresh broccoli and the beef was tender too.Pugod Roasted Asado (Php 320) of course, our visit wouldn't be complete with their bestseller dish and what they are known for. Lido Fried Rice (Php 490) there are portions to choose from Solo (Php 105), Mucho (good for 2-3, Php 265) and Familia (good for 8-10, Php 490). Our meal wouldn't be complete without desserts. They served Buchi and you can't go wrong for buchi as a meal ender. Then they served Lychee with Tutti Frutti Jelly I found its syrup too sweet so I didn't get to finish it. I would go back with my family and have them try their food cause I'm sure they will like it.

Good, fresh food, friendly service and knowledgeable servers made for a pleasant experience.Let me start by saying the food was better than I expected. I can confidently say that they are at par (and have a few better dishes) than most restaurants in Banawe. The meat and vegetables were really fresh (broccoli were nice and green) and well-prepared. Don't come in expecting 'authentic' Chinese food, though. Most, if not all, are already 'Filipinized' versions of Chinese dishes (and I'll judge the food by that). It has a very home-cooked food taste and feel.We started with the Hunan-style lomi, which was all right, but if you're a spicy food lover like me, then you'll be disappointed. The Drunken Lechon Macao was great. The meat tasted bright and the skin was crispy. It's good on it's own without any sauce. Pugon baked asado was just okay. Nothing special for me and I found it too dry. It's good with some chilli sauce, though! Beef with broccoli was good. The broccoli was crispy and beef was tender. The wings were surprisingly good. The taste was a bit strange at first, but I found myself reaching for another piece a little while after. The fried rice was was so-so and shrimp fooyong was good. The buchi was really good! It was served hot and fresh! Crispy outside but soft inside, and not too sweet. Lychee with Tutti Frutti Jelly was too sweet.Service was excellent. We were attended to quickly and served with a smile. The place was a bit warm for me, though, and table spacing was a bit tight, but okay. The restaurant is situated beside a gas station where you can park, but parking space is very limited.
