Leona Art Restaurant has been getting buzz and website friends said it warrants my attention. So i visited with friends on our food trip at Maginhawa. It's an old house slash art place turned food hub. The owner, Leona herself was around but she wasn't friendly and accommodating as expected. She was aloof, good thing her son was around to give us attention. He says, we have this Php 199 pizza all you can and one customer was able to eat 6 whole pizzas. The dishes, mostly Italian in influence has its charm. We had two of their premium pizzas- both presented in thin crusts. The big plus was its crunch! The Good Morning was everyone's favorite. The egg, the spicy sausage, loads of mozzarella and a touch of basil went so well together. The Ratatouille on the other hand was flat, the veggies weren't seasoned so well. For the pasta, Chicken Pesto was too good! The taste was alive in every bite. Special mention to a hint of garlicky flavor. The Maria Shrimp was decent, I would suggest though less creamy and more shrimp presence to it. Their signature Roasted Chicken at Php 420 was simple yet delicious. The gravy does add more interest to it with its spices. I recommend this when in big groups. Hey they charge you to charge phones here. That's the bummer side. That was disappointing.

My friends and I planned a Maginhawa Food Trip and one pf the places we visited would be Leona's Art Restaurant. It's like a old classic house made to a restaurant PERFECT for romantic casual dates. I felt like i'm in a 60's or 70's classic restaurant kulang nalang I bring my lola's with me hahaha!Anyway, I ordered this TOMATO ESPRESSO for P70. SAUSAGE AND MUSHROOM PIZZA for P275. We ordered only a few since we're just starting to explore Maginhawa. What I really enjoyed in this place is the AMBIANCE talaga. It's so refreshing, since it's almost sunset the sun glares through the window then shines upon the food being served to us. WOW DIBA. It feels very nostalgic. The ventilation is not that good though. The place is not ideal for big groups as well since the seating capacity is just few and you cant be noisy here since some students spent their time studying here.Anyway back to the food, I LOVE IT. Medyo salty lang yung timpla ng mga food nila, napansin ko. Especially the Soup I ordered nasobrahan sa salt kaya dinagdagan ko pa ng hot water. For the Pizza naman, it's so FREAKIN CHEESY! Hahaha! Which I love. Will definitely come back here hoping I could try their other best seller. Will definitely come back and try their pastas!

Their Three Cheese pizza is quite delicious. The chicken pieces in their Chicken and Pesto pasta is a bit salty, but overall it is still good. Very affordable.

What really made us come all the way here, is their seasonal Unlimited Pizza promo! Even if you can only choose from classic flavors, it never is a mistake to eat a lot of pizza (hehehe). And the decorations in and out is a wow factor in terms of simple elegance. But going back to the pizza, they are thin and crispy with enough toppings that complement the bread. Each flavor is a must-try and promo or not, you'd wanna go back here. For more pictures and reviews, please visit us at : bearslookingforfood.blogspot.com

Been here twice and the food deserves five stars! They were very tasty and worth the price. Will come back here more often. And I recommend it to my friends for sure.

We went here during our monthsary. The food was okay, nice plating but the place was not that impressive. We were expecting nice artworks from well known or upcoming Filipino artists...but we found none. And the restaurant doesn't have parking 😐

The ambiance is cozy. The place looks very private. They have wifi. The food is great and very tasty. I've been here with my friends and because the place is quiet, we had a nice chat.

I super love the pizza!!!! The ambiance of the place is so cozy and the staffs are attentive. They have an unli pizza promo every summer. The place is quite hard to find if you're not familiar in maginhawa but it's worth it.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon and found the restau empty. This a good thing for me because i enjoy solitude (at least at that time). Lets get to business!Ambiance/Setting- 5/5, i loved the rustic italian set up (really i know its a mexican restau but it felt more like italian haha)Staff- 4/5, they were accomodating, attentiveFood- 1/5 :( i ordered chicken pesto and ube cheesecake both were disappointing. the pasta was bland, overcooked and swimming in oil. the ube cheesecake tasted like "panaderia" pudding.

Number of times visited: more than 2xParking: Street ParkingFood: Food is just average in taste. The 14” pizza can serve 2-3 persons depending on their appetite, same with the pasta. We like the chicken and pesto dish in particular. Price: If you’re having pasta and pizza, the average cost per person would be Php 250.00 ++, that’s a bit expensive for average pizza and pasta.  Service: Attentive and accommodating in all the times we visited the place. Place: It looks like a house transformed into a restaurant. Cozy place and a bit quiet, just how I like it. Repeat: Probably, but not likely as there are more places to explore within the area.
