My friend and i had afternoon tea at bizu in Magnolia. We both had coffee instead of "tea" only because we are both coffee drinkers. The set consists of mini savory sandwiches, canapés and small servings of sweet pastries to go along with the coffee. From the tray, i liked the scones a lot because you can really taste the good quality butter they used and i'm a butter person. 😊 The contrast of the sweet tart blueberry jam and clotted cream complements the crumbly texture of the scones. The others are fine. I didn't like the one with shrimps though because the shrimp i think is the frozen variety but i was not expecting fresh anyway since they don't have a full kitchen.Though this set is fine, i have tasted better food from bizu from past visits. I like their gnochi and pastas. Even though the servings are quite small and prices a bit on the expensive side, the food is really yummy. Somehow you don't feel bitin. Probably because the dishes are packed with flavor. Overall, bizu does not disappoint. 👍😊💕

Been here twice at this branch and on a Sunday afternoon it was fairly full. There are about two servers at this branch & I was happy with the service wherein they were attentive. The last time I had their personal cakes (solo/mini cakes) was about 8 or 9 years ago.Since then I was always fascinated by their cakes, they look very pleasing in the eyes & fortunately they taste good as well. Although I can't remember which one was my favorite at least I never had a bad experience back then.Going back to my recent visit, I had Tiramisu personal which I had a hard time choosing between going on the safe ( familiar taste ) or have something else I wouldn't normal choose. What I like about the cake was the blend of Mascarpone cheese & Liqueur was just perfect. It wasn't too sweet ( for my taste) and the portion just is just enough for one. The price though I think is just okay about Php 225 (less 30% at the time I visited, not sure about this because I was with my parents that time) - Mascarpone cheese is on the expensive side and you can taste & see what you are paying for.Overall rating for me is 4.0,there are still room for improvements like having more variety of cakes & availability of menu item such as not having caffeinated coffee on a Sunday afternoon. I'll surely come back for the desserts & other food items :)

Afternoon tea break was the best thing after a tiring shopping marathon in the mall with with my besties!Got their Cherries Fireworks Green Tea (fruity and creamy) and their nutty but yummy Tiramisu. Gotta try the other desserts soon!

This time tried their afternoon tea set after our lunch. The set included macarons, sandwiches, bite size pieces, coffee, tea, or iced tea. Price was worthy, for 595 pesos it is good for 2 to 3 persons. Service was, as usual, very accomodating and efficient. 😘

I have no idea what macarons taste like but I'm assuming they're not similar to our "macaroons" here in the Philippines. Haha. Anyway. I haven't eaten in a "normal" Bizu place yet (this one doesn't count because it's only a satellite branch) but I've tasted their desserts in a debut once. It was heavenly. The desserts I've tasted from this particular branch are their macarons. Generally, the chocolate based flavors are an obvious choice but what made me drool was the lychee flavored one. I forgot what they're called but all ai remember is that they're color pink! Haha. I'm not sure if the biscuit should be crisp or something really moist. Bizu's were of the moist kind and I loved it! It's dainty sweetness in a bite. Macarons are delicious!
