food is good but their staff steal your take out.BE WARNED... we over ordered since we got excoted with the menu... Sadly, there are hungry thieves in their kitchen.... our full Mapo Tofu taken out which was barely touched, when we got home it was barely half a cup... our ribs became 3 pcs from 6pcs... we took note of it because only had a bite or 2 fro.. certain dishes... we were very disappointed. very unprofessional.

Tasty, familiar Chinese food that’s affordable. Serving size is good for sharing. Would highly recommend the steamed king fish as well as the mapo tofu.

Nestled in Sct. Gandia, Lan Kwai Fong actually serves good and familiar Chinese food. Tried the hototay soup and it meets expectations — flavorful broth with various servings of seafood and other goodies. The fried squid is cooked well but it lacks a bit spice. Also, the steamed king fish is great value for money, definitly worth it. Service is prompt and the staff is attentive.

We had our dinner here last night, its located at sct. Gandia i think its the only resto along that area. Its bit dark along that area plus the resto sont have a security guard for safety of the customer, there are robbery happen around tomas morato i think management should consider it. Place is abit nice but there are dust on their displays. We ordered salted egg shrimp, shrimp sotanghon, wintermelon soup, lechon macau, salt and pepper squid and yangchow rice. The food tasted good. But we notice while we eat we got thirsty too dont know if they use msg alot in the dishes. We just dont like the lechon macau because its just like lechon kawali thats so oily because they fried it again or reheated it again the meat tasted not that fresh anymore. But all the food are good. Place need to have a general cleaning i think.

There's not much customers when we had our lunch maybe because it's still 11am so staffs are very attentive. We ordered salted egg shrimp which for me is not that good.we alsk e had hot and sour soup, it's one of the best i've tasted. Their beef brisket taste great but the beef is not tender. Mapo tofu is good, sweet and sour pork is great. Their yang chow fried rice is also good. The restaurant is outdated they need minor renovations. Servings are also big for the price.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs! Sorry to have to copy/paste what my sister posted on her Fb but I couldn’t have said it any better. “This is just to remind everyone to always check your bill whenever you dine out. We tried out this restaurant on Scout Gandia earlier this evening. We reserved through Eatigo (with 30% discount!). We ordered, ate, and all was well until we asked for our bill. The first thing we noticed was that we were being charged for an item that we did not order. So, we gave the bill back. That item was removed, but then when we saw the rest of the tab, we noted a significant discrepancy between the prices of the items printed in the menu and what we were being charged (e.g. Php 280 on the menu, P420 in our bill). When we confronted them about this, they reasoned that the prices seen on the menu are for “small” orders and that we were being charged for “medium” orders. So, we asked why we were not informed that there were small and medium orders and why they only had one set of prices in their menu. The only time we were asked for a size was when we were ordering the fried rice, at which time we were informed of a “large” order, but no mention of a “medium” one. Needless to say, we (my sister in particular) would have none of this. She raised hell until they finally relented, apologized, changed our tab, and charged us only what they were supposed to charge us in the first place. So, is this how they offset the 30% discount they were to give us? Salbahe! #NeverAgainLanKwaiFong! 😡”

Chinese resto bar? Never realize that chinese cuisine and bar mix well. Foods are the usual chinese food with the ambience of a bar (videoke room, big sports TV, bar music). For me its kind of a weird combination but not bad. Their foods are good. I love the suahe and the seafood squash. The service is also good. The place is just a little hidden in the small streats of tomas morato.😀👍

Lan Kwai Fong, internationally known, is a bar district in Hong Kong. In Metro Manila, it is a Chinese restobar and grill. You don't see many restobars here, but the Chinese people often eat together so this is a nice idea.LKF serves normal Chinese foods. Normal means the things you would see in a Chinese restaurant...hot prawn salad, spareribs, vegetable soup, chicken, tofu, among others. It is not a fancy restaurant that serves fresh seafood or the best dimsum. Having the name, it does serve a lot of alcoholic drinks. For a more private gathering, LKF has three private rooms.Being a normal Chinese restaurant, the taste is also normal. A 3.0. We ordered Spinach with Three Eggs, Spareribs with A1 Sauce, Hot Prawn Salad, Steamed Lapu-Lapu, Soy Chicken, and Mixed Seafood. I like the crunch of the prawns of the salad, and the tenderness and flavor of the chicken. But compared to other restaurants, nothing really stood out.The reason why this is a 2.0 is because of the service. Before ordering the fish, we asked if the fish is live and fresh. The waiter said it is. "Buhay" he exclaimed. Despite the lack of visible aquariums, we believed him. When the fish was served and we started eating, it wasn't fresh. It came from a frozen source because of the texture, flavor, and how the meat looked. We told him about it but he still insisted on being fresh. No need to make a fuzz about it, we thought.

Comfort chinese food you will keep on coming backWent here to try them out since it is hidden. On a saturday lunch, we were the only customers of these restaurant. Tried their live stage, lechon macao, live lapu lapu on soy sauce and hot and sour soup. Omg. The lapu lapu us worth dying for it was perfect cooked and cook even better than paluto or fancy chinese restaurant. Its really sweet and yummyService is also good, but needs to improve on consistency and avoid their kitchen going to dining area to deliver the food from kitchenInternet is decently fast. Showing abs cbn shows which is a plus for meI would keep on coming back as long as they cook this way. Want try something else in future. This establishment does not accept credit card though
