A hidden gem at the heart of Lagro. @lapocalocaph, a #texmexfood place in a middle of a subdivision up north. They offer affordable Texmex food with a little Filipino twist. I ordered a beef burrito and they weren't kidding when they said beef. It's real beef strands and chunk from end to end. They gave a generous serving of sides. Taste is 4/5 they didn't skimp on ingredients but I feel like it lacked a little spice. Though what they lack in taste, they made up with size. This thing was 12 inches long. Now that's a #burrito #komradefoodadventures Place was relatively small with small tables and outside seating. We went there on a Saturday late afternoon and we were the only ones till 6ish. Staff was nice and pretty quick but are a little busy tinkering with their phones when idle. I'd definitely go back here because my 320 pesos got me a 12 inches burrito, 3 cheese quesadilla and a bottle of San Mig light.

Their burritos are better than Silantro, their churros are better than La Lola. And guess what, you get these superb dishes for a very very reasonable price. This hole in the wall definitely deserves the spotlight! :) Please open a branch in Mandaluyong or Las Piñas!!!!

Went here yesterday, the place was small but with cute interior. Im not really a fan of tex-mex but this one has really good food. Compared to the expensive restos offering the same kind of cuisine, may laban to. 😂💪🏻 Definitely will come back, if not matraffic in Lagro.

It's always good to have a Mexican joint nearby to satiate your late-night munchies (or drunchies, for that matter). The burrito is okay, but the distinct Mexican signature taste could be improved. I was hoping to see beans inside the wrap, but all I saw was rice and the tough meat (pork). Their macho nachos is okay, too, though, again, the meat lacked that distinct Mexican palette. What stood out for me was the Margarita. The liquor overpowered the mixer — just the way I like it.However, the service staff could use a little personality development coaching because the cashier received my payment and served my food donning a frown, as if to say she doesn't like what she's doing. She could have at least pretended to be. After all, she's in the service industry. That sort of ruined the experience for me and left a bad taste in my mouth despite the okay food. Needless to say, these won't hold me off from coming back again should I catch one of the drunchies again. P.S. I like their playlist.
