CREW HERE NEED TO BE CALLED TWICE JUST TO GET YOUR ATTENTION AND IT'S VERY ANNOYING DO WE SEEM LIKE UNEMPLOYED AND UNABLE TO PAY?! They are not also smiling. We had no problem with the food quality but when it comes to the customer service is so bullshit.

additional food served too late.. extra platter of rice needs to be followed up several times before they will assist you. Halo-halo has human hair on it, we were asked to write the experience tho on their "client experience logbook". Asking for reorder or change no longer sounds good since i already have trust issues. Before the discovery of the hair, we, of course ordered halo halo for dine-in, but when its time to be served, we were asked by the waiter if its fine if they will serve it on a takeout cup, as if we dont have a choice but say yes or they had it prepared too early to realize we are dining in and not taking those cups out. disappointing part is we thought they no longer have available glasses for seven for their halo halo but they were able to serve other tables on it with the same number of pax and almost all tables who ordered their famous ube halo halo. We came in early, we ordered plenty but the service we received is very disattisfactory. Experience wise, will no longer dine nor promote kuya j fairview terraces branch to my family and friends.

Service was horrible, the waiters are not attentive at all. They were all in the corner chit chatting not paying attention to our calls. We were STILL eating and the waiter started clearing our plates even when there are food still left on it. I understand if it's rush hour but only three tables were occupied when we were eating. Do they not have enough plates to go around??? I do NOT recommend this particular branch at all and we won't be coming back to dine there again. 👎👎👎

There are things that Kuya J need to improve. Like, this store's staffs. I don't know if we did something bad to them because they don't seem to be happy with their service, especially the girl who receives reservations and sometimes serves too. They also had to be called for follow-ups sometimes. Also when it comes to food, the pork is too tender. It's too soft to the point of breaking instantly upon getting it.Kuya J is my kuya's favorite so I can't complain whenever we dine here. My favorite here is their lumpiang shanghai and the sinigang. The place is cozy too especially for family dinings.Ps. The only picture I had is when we first eat here.

Kuya J Restaurant in Ayala Fairview Terraces is our new favorite resto now. I actually like the interior design of their restaurant despite of a limited space that they offer. What we truly love about Kuya J is their food especially their Sinigang na Baka which turns to be my kids' favorite dish. I can taste some sweetness in the soup, which makes it dissimilar from other sinigang recipes that we know. Their Roasted Chicken also has a distinct taste, I don't know about you, but I enjoy the combination of saltiness and sweetness of their chicken.

Sunday evening with my family and friends was meant to be spent with a nice dinner so we thought of giving this resto a try.The place was packed. We got our own menu then ordered. Most of the ones we wanted to try were, according to the waiter, "sold out". It was only around 7:30PM. It wasn't even closing yet.We also wanted to order beer but also sold out.How can they not forecast their stocks of food on the menu on a Sunday evening? Did they not expect a lot of customers? They've been operating in this mall for months so they should know what the peak days and hours are.We ended up with their Kare- kare, Crispy Pata, Tuna Belly, Bicol Express and Adobong Pusit. I did not bother taking a photo of all the food because they did not look too appealing. The taste wasn't that bad but it was just as ordinary as it looked. It was really disappointing because the serving was also a bit small considering the price. The service is not good too. It's either they are just undermanned or it was just full house. Either way, it's still the same, they should have expected more customers than usual since it's a Sunday. We waited long and even had to follow up our request for drinking water.

Kuya J came highly recommended by a friend. So when Joseph's birthday celeb came, he quickly chose the place. Bad choice. The vaunted Crispy Pata was quite disappointing. Serving size was quite small, and the quality was even worse. Well most of it was crispy enough, some parts tasted like chlorine, or un cooked vinegar. The sauce was bland. I never tasted bland soy sauce, this is a feat! At Php 500-700, it's quite over priced.... I would rather spend my money at Baliwag's and get twice the serving size, for less than half the price... Serving time was average to slow, and service was ok. At least the bill was fast, since i couldn't wait to get out of there and find a better place for desert. It's like they're trying to copy Mesa, or Gerry's, and failing horribly, with the gall to charge you even more. All in all it was a bad dinning experience, thank god the company made it tolerable. If you ever run out of other options, McDonalds is crowded, and you feel like wasting money, drop by Kuya J's.

The area is a bit small but great food nonetheless. I love their lumpia as well as their kare kare. Love their fried rice too. Service is great and will male you feel at home!

Its far from the first time we ate here, 2 years ago the food, the people and ambiance was great. Now sauces are bland, the squid is not fresh, kare kare is diluted, and the place lacks air-conditioning, we were sweating while eating thats how hot it is inside, the people next to our table even lend us their fan for the kinds that are clearly drench in sweat. The staff says the AC is already set on high and they cannot do anything about it since it is a centralized. Really sad about this place as the staff are nice and their food was once great.
