Tried Kuaizi a few days ago because I didn't want to cook dinner for myself. Since I always pass by it anyway, I finally decided to give it a try. There were only a few tables occupied when I went in so the service was quick. I ordered the dumpling noodle soup and it wasn't quite what I expected. The broth and noodles were okay, nothing exceptional, but the dumplings were disappointing. I was expecting the usual dumplings you find in wanton noodles but the ones they served with mine, if I'm not mistaken were gyoza. For me it was a bit weird and it wasn't something I fancied. Anyway, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I definitely won't be back anytime soon.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. If I could give a negative rating I would. Ordered Garlic spareribs and Braised pork with crisped shallots rice meals. Garlic spareribs decent but overpriced, note it's deep fried. But the braised pork looked like carinderia-style tinadtad pork asado with rice and egg not even worth 70 pesos. Crisped shallots were "braised" with the pork daw (pero the small chopped up pork belly was just boiled not properly braised) so if you ask where it is, they're dumbfounded why you're expecting any on top of your rice meal. 188 for this overpriced crap? Mas masarap pa sa carinderia. They gave me a bowl of crisped shallots because they probably thought I was being a diva but that hardly improved the meal, and really who won't be pissed when you're starving and you get dog food and have to pay 188 pesos for it?Also ordered Chinese buffalo wings - not worth your money, 4 pcs of overly salty wings also for 188. Mas sulit pa sa Chowking. They've gotten 1* reviews on FB since 2015 but all they say is "noted" so don't expect them to make an effort to improve their food or hire a better cook. I would recommend this place if you are looking to throw away your hardearned money. Their menu doesn't even have the stuff previously reviewed here, like dimsum.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I'M NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN! Really too pricey for a bunch of bloody-on-the-inside but burnt-on-the-outside Buffalo Chicken Wings. I also did not enjoy the Garlic Spareribs I ordered. It's over priced, over fried and has weird taste too. It's way below expectation. Food tasted like it's been in the fridge for months so they need to overfry it. So disappointing!I don't really write food reviews, but this one is an exception. Masama talaga loob ko sa ibinayad ko!

The best Soy Chicken I ever tasted! I was craving for authentic Chinese food, Asked my good friend to drive me along Maginhawa and found this restaurant! Kuaizi! =) ordered Soy Chicken along with my steamed dumpling, don't have a photo of my steamed dumplings cuz I was so hungry and just ate it! very yummy as well, taste very fresh! asked the owner if he made the dumplings, he said yes! freshly made everyday =) BURP! Also Asked how to pronounce the restau name so I can suggest it with my other friends! and oh he said the meaning of Kuaizi was chopsticks! Very good sevice as well! I will surely return =)

When I visited on a Friday night, the place was a little empty. The staff is accommodating and attentive. Their serving is quite big. I think a bowl of noodles can serve two. There was nothing special about their noodles but I'd swear by their chicken. They don't cheat you out of your money when you see how much chicken the bowl has. Worth a try.
