Amazing, especially when your'e drunk. Cannot ask for more. From siopao to mami to chili; its the place to be at. Amazing music downstairs too.

I agree with Lovelee Tan, for the sanitary reasons. For the food, I really like their siomai, asado and siopao. Every kowloon is perfect for family dining.

This place is definitely not for fancy people. Expect people who drink and smoke from 6 pm onwards. I eat here a lot simply because their rice meals are worth every penny. I highly recommend their asado and lechon kawali rice which comes with a sunny-side-up egg on top of the rice. Their siopao (priced at P60 for 2 pieces which is cheaper than siopaos in famous covenience stores) is high quality as well. My only comment is that the bun tastes like puto which could be weird to certain people's palette. Their sharksfin and siomai are great appetizers but a bit pricy for P55 per 3 pieces. To balance out the other reviews, I haven't seen a single fly in this place.

My liking for Kowloon House's siomai and siopao dates back to my college days 2 decades ago. Up to now, the quality and size relative to the price have not changed. Talk about good value for money. The siomai, be it pork, beef or shark's fin, is meaty and flavorful, though not as sophisticated as in more expensive tea houses. This branch also has a Chinese restaurant just one level up. The menu is very detailed with Chinese dishes, comparable to other popular Chinese restaurants in Manila, onli slightly cheaper. My usual order is the shrimp with cashew nuts, a personal favorite since my childhood days.
