One can never go wrong with spicy tuna sashimi and Asahi beer amidst the heat of Sunday afternoon. Will be back and try Kokoro's other dishes as well.

I tried their Hakata Karaka and i hated it :-( the whole thing tasted like medicine, and it was not even spicy 😒 Plus the servers were slow to attend to the needs of the customers. Wont go back to this place again 👎🏼(Their tempura, on the other hand, tasted okay)

To be safe, I ordered the Tonkatsu Bento Set. The taste of the food is a solid 3 for me. I was bit disappointed though that the tonkatsu was very small. It didnt even fill its space. The rice and noodles tasted okay, too.

Went to Kokoro Ramenya to satisfy my tonkatsu cravings. I got the tonkatsu bento set and the tofu steak. For 275 you get "miso soup", "yakisoba", tonkatsu, rice, and coffee jelly. In short, you get quite a bit for your money but the bento was disappointing. Tonkatsu was dry. The "miso soup" tasted more like ginger than miso and it sure has hell didn't look like miso soup. The "yakisoba" was very bland despite the ingredients. The tofu steak was the hands down winner and the coffee jelly wasn't so bad.I know the restaurant is all about the ramen but they shouldn't have put tonkatsu or any other item on the menu if they couldn't do them well. The service crew were not attentive. There were only three occupied tables in the place and I still had to wave to get their attention. Also, the table we got wasn't as clean as it should have been. As I wrap this review up, I'm thinking I should have gone to Tokyo Tokyo instead. :|
