I'm not a hardcore Korean food lover but I do have a few favorites. Kogi Bulgogi is one of those commercial restaurants that deliver--commendable food and good service. We chose this because we wanted to treat our friend on her birthday. Since she was a K-pop lover and has lived in Korea for 10 months, this was the best choice for her in  Eastwood area. They actually play Kpop songs inside the resto--plus points for that!Apparently in Korea they serve appetizer/side dishes nonstop, so they also adapted that custom here. We got two batches of side dish before our orders came. My favorites were the tofu, dilis, and Kimchi. (I only eat Kimchi if its delicious. haha) The fried pork side dish had hair, BTW. But I was in a good mood so I let it slide. (I'm still telling it here for an honest report/review haha.) For the main dishes we ordered 12 pieces of their Kpop chicken, Japchae, and korean lettuce wraps. My friend wasn't impressed with their chicken but I have to say, it was juicy and tasty. Their "spicy" wasn't spicy at all but it would do. I love chicken any way you cook it. Haha! I looooved their Japchae--super sweet (maybe too sweet for some) and the noodles are awesome--gelatinous and tasty. The meat for the wraps were a bit dry but the sauces were good and tasty. Overall, it's a good commercial Korean resto for my non-expert Korean website self. And oh, I ordered Lychee shake as refreshment--super sweet as well. Just how I like it! Our total bill was around 1,200 and we were a group of 5. We left the resto filled and satisfied. :)

Ambiance is okay: roomy, comfortable and plays good kpop music. Service is good, staff are alert and very helpful.Food taste is great. We had Tuk Bulgogi, Samgyupsal, Kpop Chicken and Soju.The Tuk Bulgogi is good. The broth is rich, vegetables are crisp and the beef is tender. The Samgyupsal is okay as well, the pork belly is tasty, sauces compliment the pork very well, the lettuce is not sufficient though, there were only 6 leaves provided. The Kpop Chicken is one of the best I have tasted I love the crispiness and the spiciness is just the right amount. The Soju was quite interesting, the menu says Yipsejoo so I was expecting a mild Soju but we were served a Chamisul Soju which is a stronger variant. It was okay with me but we were to watch a movie after dinner and the Chamisul really got us.The food serving is somewhat small to what is advertised or what I see online but I can still say that it is value for the money.

Korean food cravings happened when we were in eastwood so we ended up here. What we ordered are the sundubu-jjigae, tak bulgogi, the fish that i forgot what its called, and the fried dumplings. It was ok for a korean dish, the ambience is actually cleaner and nicer than other korean restaurants around ortigas.

Not the best Kogi Bulgogi branch when it came to checking on how their staff managed to deal with proper customer service but at least the taste and the portion size were consistent with the other branches. It's always a good idea to keep your eyes peeled for new promos. Like their official Facebook page. They have this weekly and/or monthly weekend promos. The last one was the Kpop Chicken Wings and for this week they have the Ramyeon promo. Affordable prices compared to their normal rates. Their marinated bbq meat selections were really good. Portion size were bitin for meat lovers like me and you have to order steamed rice for an extra cost. Pricey normal rates but highly recommended.

I really think I'm missing something since everyone is giving Kogi Bulgogi good reviews and I find myself underwhelmed. Every time. With the prevalence of all things Korean in the Philippines, it isn't (shouldn't be) hard to find good Korean restaurants.I find that the dishes here are expensive, in relation to their price and serving size. Taste and service is okay.Kogi Bulgogi is good enough to satisfy your Korean food craving, but if you want to really experience Korean food (at a great price and portion), go to Yedang or Seoul Barbecue, just across Eastwood.

I have nothing but praise for their Bibimbap. While it's not the most amazing I've tasted, it's guaranteed to be at the top. The flavors are all there and the serving is good enough for a hungry me. I like how I can get it to be as spicy as I want because I get to add the spicy paste myself. The complimentary appetizers are also nice.

UPDATED January 17, 2016:Gave this branch another shot!Service was good this time! 🎉The food was really good too! Just as I know it to be in their Greenhills branch! Yuk Hoi serving was the usual size too! 😍It pays off to give restos a 2nd (or even 3rd) chance! 👍ORIGINAL REVIEW RATING 2 (JUNE 2015):I usually love Kogi Bulgogi... at least the one in Greenhills.This was my first time to visit the Eastwood branch. We ordered everything we usually ordered.The first disappointment was that the Yuk Hoi was probably half the size of what I usually get in greenhills.Next, the kimchi rice didn't taste like kimchi. In fact... it didn't really have much taste. The Bulgogi Rice Bowl was also bland compared to what we're used to.We tried their KPop Chicken. Sadly, the sweet soy flavor tasted like gravy. The skin was mostly not crunchy except for some big bits that turned out to be crunchy if you managed to chew it.The only reason this rating got a 2 is that at the very least my Yuk Hoi tasted the same.We were so disappointed... we talked about going to the Greenhills branch soon, while we ate, just to make up for this experience!

jjampong (5) and tok-bulgogi. dak and kalbi ssambap were ok (i still like the bulgogi ssambap). we were only given 2 sides, booo! service was ok.

the place looks good...comfy seats...we didn't wait too long for our foods to be served..we were already eating when a cockroach came out crawling from somewhere...it crawled on the wall and on the table...eeww! we called the attention of one of the staffs but she moved too slowly and the cockroach did its ninja move and it's gone...i don't remember if i liked the food at all..all i know is there was a cockroach crawling..never again..
