Since my cousin really loves Chinese Food specially the dimsums, I invited him to try their promo, dimsum-all-you-can. The place is quite full since it's dinner time. Some of the dishes like buchi, radish cake, siopao, chicken needs to be ordered. While the siomai, sharksfin, beef balls, etc. will be served through a 'dimsum trolley'. At first we got bitin because they only served beef balls then the other dishes took time to be served. Food: 4.5/5 I gave it a high rating 'cos it's a buffet but if you will order it ala carte it's a bit pricey.Pork Siomai: One of the best siomai I've tried. It had several chunks of shrimp! So delish!Asado Siopao: Also enjoy it! What do you call the 'bread' of the siopao? Cuapao/buns? It's so soft and fluffy just the way I like it.Sharksfin: It's good but the Pork Siomai is the best!Pork Tito: It's a pork's intestine. It's flavorful and goes well with soy sauce.Radish Cake: It's like a hash brown but it's made out of radish. For me I guess.Chicken Feet: Like the flavor of the sauce. Verdict: Two thumbs-up for King Bee! Wish they could extend their dimsum all you can promo. Haha. I think what needs improvement is their air conditioning, the dimsum especially the sharksfin gets cold after a few minutes thus, the wrapper of the sharksfin tends to be tough and rubbery.

Me and my friends ate here at King Bee for my birthday to celebrate. I love and always crave Chinese buffets/restaurants that's why I had to try eating here. I saw the " All You Can Eat Dimsum " for I believe was PHP288 each for person and it had lots of benefits and was a complete package, so that's what we all got. And I must say the variety of dimsum and dumplings they hard were pretty good, and they taste absolutely amazing! Their noodle soup that I ordered was really good as well, everything tastes good. Although the one thing that put us off was the slow service, it took us a long time to get even a glass or water, and sometimes we had had to ask twice. But overall I'd visit and eat here again.

Their hacao is great even their pork siomai. Compared to King Chef, their dim sum are better in taste and in servings. The only difference is that King Chef's crew are friendlier. For the entire 75 minutes that we stayed, we never receive a smile, we were even tempted to call for their supervisor because the service was horrible. They served our dim sum order like one order every 10 minutes. After 30 minutes, I asked one of their crew for a follow up and his answer was "it takes 20 minutes to prepare this beef balls unless you want to eat it raw". All right!  They even served the mango sago first then served the dim sum afterwards. I am giving them 3 because the food is good. Perhaps a different branch has better service.

So i went in today to try their P250 dim sum EAYC buffet... i am, admittedly, on a series of reviewing dim sum places that offers eat all you can promos because why not? More bang for the buck, right? So here goes...Food - 4.5/5So for P250 you get, steamed dim sum like sharksfin, pork siomai, japanese siomai ( the ones wrapped with nori and served with an eggwhite sauce), and beefball. They have one fried dimsum which they named pork dumpling. They also have chicken feet, taosi spareribs, chicken mushroom, asado siopao, pork tito and buchi for dessert. Although not on the buffet table, you can order plain rice and plain noodles as well. The buffet deal comes with refillable iced tea as well. Not bad, not bad at all! A steal at 250 if you would ask me. Now, what are the highlights? Personally, i liked the beef ball... it was so soft and springy (it bounces when you press on it)... the beefiness is subtle and laced with flavors of spring onions. Their version of chicken feet is the red, sticky recipe, which is on the sweet side, which I am not a big fan of but for those that do, you would go crazy over it. The taosi spareribs is also very good. The pork is fresh and has a distinct bite. The sauce itself would go well on top of rice. The surprise of the day came from the asado siopao. The siopao bun itself is soft, sweet, none of that soapy sodium bicarb aftertaste. The bun lends itself perfectly to the asado filling which isn't sweet but is more meaty and robust in taste. I appreciated that they offer noodles even if it is plain. The broth is just right with a balanced taste, meaning not too salty and the noodles are thin yet springy (read: hindi malabsak)... Ambience - 3.5/5Nothing much too see... just your typical chinese restaurant with a mix of hometown Filipino comfort... the piped in chinese music though wreaks of nostalgia... it wasn't loud enough to bother conversation but just barely audible to merit attention.Service - 4.0/5There were around 3-4 tables being served, including us, and the 2 servers were almost always inside the counter or the kitchen... so you really need to pay attention when they come out to have your glasses refilled, or just to generally get their attention for everything. On the other hand, maybe, they were inside because they need to keep refilling the chafing dishes at the buffet which they do so efficiently. Overall - 4.0/5If you are looking for a quick, filling bite and you are in the mood for dim sum... for P250, you get to eat all the dimsum that you want... plus noodles and bottomless iced tea... promo runs Mon to Fri, 2pm - 530pm all throughout September... not sure if they will still offer the same by October.
