I love this yakiniku place! My friend and I did some catching up over coffee and got hungry. I checked out dinner around the vicinity by of course using website and this resto pop up after few scroll down. So the ambiance first! Neat, simple and meant for group of people. They also have a tel # TV running so you all can watch while waiting for the grilling section to be done. Customer service was excellent! Now, I’m a big fan of accomodating staff and managers. Let’s say the food is mediocre but a staff is very attentive and pleasing, I’ll still give it an extra star! And Kazoku staffs are very friendly and they get back to you quickly with whatever you need. The fact that this japanese resto is yakiniku, it’s a must be pretty tiring for them but ate girl is still all smile and friendly to every customer. Food? ONE OF THE BEST YAKINIKU I HAD HERE IN QC SO FAR. The marinate sauce and seasoning they use in their chicken and pork is so good that when you grill them, they don’t look and taste dry! I also love the generous unli seafood together with the yakiniku set we had. PRO TIP: when ordering yakiniku, they’ll put out the shrimp first so always make sure to ask what’s included in the seafood side of their yakiniku. Apparently, there’s also salmon and we noticed the cut and the part they gave to us resembles sashimi so we just ate eat raw and we asked three times to refill. We got a big unapologetic appetite that time lolAnd last but not the least.... their sushi is the B O M B! One of the biggest if not the biggest I had so far and they didn’t just put out a big sushi but actually big serving that explodes with fresh ingredients and cheese on top! Sooo... if y’all wanna eat some good japanese food and affordable... Go guys!!! Visit the best yakiniku in Maginhawa hihihi!

Too pricey for the location and taste. Service is good. Sampled their tuna sashimi, tofu steak (good!), katsudon, chirashi don and the best for me was their beef teppan. Actually, one of the best since its surprisingly oh so tender!

I dine here with my family, usually, every after work when we would feel eating dinner at a Japanese restaurant. Thankful we found a place nearby we enjoy dining at! What I would normally order is their crazy roll (P380) and shoyu ramen (P280). Lately, I've liked my maki with cream cheese (and shrimps/salmon) on it as compared to the plain california maki so, this one - I truly enjoy I could eat everything myself. Oops! And I also like how they are big and with just one bite (that takaw level), I could taste all the flavors. Totally loving it! With their shoyu ramen, it comes in a big bowl so, also worth it, enough for one person. Personally, I would always dash a bit of togarashi (chili powder) just to add spice. Yum!10/6/16

The place is spacious and well ventilated. There are flatscreens to entertain the customers (no sound tho haha) The almost all the food servings are for sharing. And it tastes good too! The price is affordable. Too bad their matcha lava cake isnt always available.

It was recommended by a friend for us to try. I am an avid fan of Japanese food. This place had a nice japanese feel to it. Staff was accomodating. For the food, we tried the Tako sashima (octupus tentacles), it smelled a little fishy bur was very savory and soft. Then we got the shoyu ramen which was a really big serving. It is really filling. Although there is nothing special with the ramen, the bento gyudon meal was worth the price aince you get rice, one main course, salad, and 4 pcs sashimi. The highlight, for me, was the iced tea. It was the perfect blend of tea and lemon which was very refreshing for this very warm weather.
