My friends and I were finding somewhere to eat and we found Katsu Sora. Since the majority of us havent eaten here yet, we decided to go for it. They have a chill place to eat and chat with friends/ loved ones. They offer unlimited salad, rice and soup if you order a menu set. So we each ordered different sets. I had the Mixed Seafood Set, just to taste every little thing they have. It’s fairly good. Their Chicken with Cheese Katsu Set I think is their bestseller that you need to try. It really is yummy. Their price is kinda high, you need to prepare a 500 peso bill to be able eat here. Their menu sets ranges from 350-650 pesos.

Food: First thing you would compare this to is Yabu. We ordered the Iberico Curry and the Sakura Katsudon. Both of them were very bland and relied on the standard katsu sauce to be eaten. IMO not worth paying extra if I am gonna eat the pork the same way I would if I ordered the plain one. Only thing it has over Yabu is the salad bar with a ton of variety.Ambiance: Gave the very standard Japanese restaurant vibe.Price: Definitely too expensive for the quality of food I am getting. Most expensive pork-chop you will ever get.Service: The first curry that they gave me was spoiled. I asked them to change it but they just changed the sauce and not the pork that was smothered in the spoiled curry. Waiters were nice but were hard to get service from

The staff were excited to go home. We were there 10:05pm and they didn't want to let us in coz they said they had their last call at 10pm. What's the use in closing at 11pm if you don't accept customers after 10pm?

Yabu is the extent at which I've eaten Katsu (not that big of a fan), but this is a good Katsu place. It's cheaper and offers a wider variety of food selections, and the service is more prompt and nice. Went for the Sakura Pork Tonkatsu Set (PHP 409 with service charge). It was okay, the one I had in Yabu was definitely more memorable. This one was a bit boring to me. The miso soup was noticeably salty, but we all loved the house tea. The star bonus though was the salad bar - everything was good in there and I started wishing every Japanese place had a salad bar to complement their offerings. The place, however, was a bit cramped, but it does offer a more intimate, personalized service from the crew. For now, the best place for Katsu in Eastwood.

I love katsu sora especially trinoma branch, but this branch was the worst. This will be my first time to give 1.0 rating, sorry but I really had bad experience during my visit.Brown rice was disappointing. I even told the staff it was not properly cooked. I showed it to the staff and told them it was hard and undercooked, they just told me " ganun talaga" and. immediately left, comparing to trinoma branch, their rice was really disappointing. They don't even offer house tea, you still need to ask them unlike to other branches you can just get it at the salad bar. The fruits also are not fresh especially the honey dew. I think other fruits on the bar are already there hours ago, I got 3 pcs of honey dew but wasn't able to eat it because it is already sour and had slimy taste. There were no customers at around 3pm but staffs are not around especially if you have request. I honestly didn't enjoy my meal since flies are evident in the area, even in the salad bar. No one cares to pay attention on this.
