Place and the food is ok for me. :D Hopefully they can improve on the taste of their food. Tried their kani salad and chiclen katsu. It was ok.

Cheaper than its other katsu resto counterparts. The place looks nice and it's cool that they offer Japanese beer.Maybe they could hire at least one more person because they seem understaffed. The first time we were there, we waited for so long for our order and even our request to be served water was unheeded and other customers were getting impatient too. But the last time I was there, there was only one other group of customers so my order was served in no time.Their katsu is somewhat oily and isn't very filling - but hey, they're more than 50% cheaper than the likes of Yabu, so if you're just looking for a quick fix for your katsu cravings, this will do. The quality reasonably matches the price. Will still go back. I like their fish katsu :)

Their chicken katsu was good, they offer unlimited rice and soup. The service was ok. We went around 10am so there weren't a lot of people yet.

Food was fine, but few choices. The place is clean and has a good interior. One thing that i like in this place is that its not that crowded.

We ordered the Pork Katsu Sets and Sola Iced Teas. 🍱🍹 Their service is fast and the place is also quiet so it's good when you want to enjoy your meals while talking with your companions. They have fast wifi too so you can easily upload photos and such. Their katsu tastes somehow authentic for a reasonable price compared to other restaurants so it's worth a try.

Better than Yabu. I believe that Yabu is just overrated. Haha. (Except for their super yummy unli cabbage though) They have good price points too and their Japanese rice is really authentic! The only nega was that they don't have unlimited servings for their miso soup and cabbage. :(

Their Katsu sets are actually cheaper than other Katsu houses. I would recommend the Fish Katsu set. When I ordered mine, it was fried well and yet so soft in the inside. The unli miso soup and rice will make it worth it too. Service is ok.When you order Kani salad though, request for not so much mayo. And don't bother with the wifi, it's been a year, and they still say their wifi doesn't work.

Japanese restaurant that serves cheap katsu. It's not as juicy and tender like others but it's a pretty good alternative if you're on a budget. The kani salad is a must order! It's good for sharing and they didn't skimp on japanese mayo.

Sorry but I was not really impressed with the taste. Tempura wasn't that good. I think other cheaper Japanese restos were much better.I only like the place since it was neat.

Cost efficient alternative for Yabu or Ginza Bairin. For instance, the Chicken Katsu set that's usually PHP315 in Ginza Bairin is only PHP195 here. Rice and Miso soup were also unlimited but the cabbage and sauce weren't. Fruit wasn't served as well. The quality or the katsu was also, as expected, not comparable. Would have given a higher rating if only the staff were more attentive and spent more time paying attention to the customers vs. hiding in the corner 😊Hence, it's ok to eat here to simply satisfy a Japanese food craving. But if you're looking for quality food and service, not to mention unlimited cabbage, sauce and fruits (and you have money to spare), I would highly recommend Yabu, Ginza Bairin, Saboten or Tonkatsu by Terazawa (in order of personal preference 👍🏼).
