The first time I tried their fish katsu set and well... let's just say it made come back to order their Pork Katsu set. It's that yummy it will make come back for more. And since it's affordable, it's an obvious choice if you want a legit yet budget- friendly katsu set along Katipunan. I believe they also have another branch in Teacher's vill, it's bigger compared to the one in Katipunan but both are chill places. I agree with what others say, chaper version of Yabu it is. The only drawback is that the cutlet is not as big, but it would d. Their miso soup is delicious as well. :)

Serving size was just right. Spent 195 for my chicken katsu set with miso soup. The rice wasn't cooked to my standards of japanese restaurants but overall the dining experience was good

Katsu Cafe serves different types of meals such as Katsu sets, Katsu curry sets, donburi and other Japanese dishes. We only ordered two items on their meal which were:Katsu Cafe – Gyozakatsu Cafe’s gyoza tastes more like a steamed dumpling than a pan fried dumpling. Katsu Cafe – Pork Katsu Set –Unless other katsu restaurants, they only have one variant of their pork katsu. There’s no hint of fat so you are getting lean meat! I loved the combination of their pork katsu and tonkatsu sauce. It was a great mix of light sweetness and sourness.

I usually order pork katsu set from katsu cafe. The first time i visited, i thought it was comparable to Yabu. But last night, i realized their pork katsu is a bit blant. Nonetheless, still had a great meal.

A place that offers a student price katsus! I was shocked when girlfriend told me that the price of the bento katsus here are more than half of the popular katsu houses around. They have very attentive servers from the start, and up to the time we asked for the bill.We ordered their Chicken Katsu Set and Pork Katsu Set. Each set comes with unli rice and side dish of cabbage. Flavorwise, it's still the good ol' katsu, But the only thing they differ from the commercial ones is the tenderness of the meat which they can improved. But, for less than 200 pesos for a katsu set? Who I am to complain?
