Love their baby back ribs, no need to use knife as it's soft and fall off the bones. Serving is big, i usually gets full just eating half, half is always taken home. Mango crepe is always my favorite dessert. Potato Chowder is so good and their fries cheese and dip as well....Too bad I can only taste their potato salad if we ordered platter meals. Sometimes service is poor that you have to wait for the crew to notice you whenever asking for something or even asking for the bill.

It was a disappointing dining experience when we had lunch at Kangaroo Jack on January 22, 2017. You need to lower your expectations when you order because their food is not as good as shown in the menu. The taste is also nothing special. Service is also meh as our server made a number of mistakes. He gave us food that is not meant for our table, and mixed up our drinks.

The food are not that good, spaghetti is so bland as well as their java rice, if not because of the color I won't think that it's a java rice. Their mushroom soup is good because it has a lot of butter. Their pizza is also good better than pizza hut. I still have to think if I will eat here again. Maybe look for something else better

Mama and I arrived early for my dermatologist's consultation, so to kill time and satiate our appetites, we decided to eat an early lunch. I asked Mama what she wants to eat, but all she said was she's better off making her own choices at an all-you-can-eat buffer. Alrighty then. We've tried city buffet about 3 weeks ago, so I thought we'd check Tong Yang out. On our way, we saw Kangaroo Jack. They offer lunch buffet at P265, I think. That's quite an offer, so we decided to park TY first and indulge in KJ's buffet. The dishes on the buffet table were mostly Filipino Spanish inspired cuisine. There were caldereta, karekare, sautéed ampalaya with eggs, beef steak, fried chicken, and pork chops. The whole experience was pleasant. Servers were alert, but maybe because the place was not crowded. The food was okay. I mean, it's a spread you can eat conveniently at your own home. I'm wondering why there's no aussie fare though. If you want value for your money and a buffet price that's unbeatably low, try Kangaroo Jack, but don't expect to be wowed and amazed with unforgettable concoctions. You'll be thoroughly disappointed.

The lasagna that I ordered is expired and they did not want to admit it so they gave us the option of changing it to the marinara (which they had the guts to charge us!!), their Salisbury steak is salty af, and the Java rice is peculiarly bland and oily. No one in the family enjoyed their order, well maybe except for my brother who ordered the cream dory. The cream dory will remind you of popcorn. I may try the other branches but DEFINITELY NOT GOING BACK TO THIS BRANCH. They can kangaroo jack-off!

Kangaroo Jack is a really nice option for lunch and dinner. They also offer merienda buffet for a very cheap price. We frequent kangaroo jack because of the familiarity with the taste and relatively cheap steak. What we had for dinner were porterhouse, t-bone steak, baby back ribs, and a combo meal of sirloin steak, salad, and soup. For drinks, we had mango shake, pineapple shake, and rootbeer float.Sirloin steak was really good considering its price of 180 pesos with fries, salad, and soup. It was tasty, and not too chewy.Pineapple shake is nice too, it was cold and sweet.Baby back ribs is okay to try. Not too special but it was worth it, again considering the price.Experience here is okay, maybe not as great as other steak places but it's one of those places where you can get the most value for money.

We tried their Merienda Buffet for 255 pesos. Food: 2.5We tried their Pancit Canton, Pizza, Turon, Dinuguan, Spaghetti, Mushroom soup and Rice.Food was cold and their iced tea seemed to have no sugar or maybe too much water in it.There isn't much to choose from.Service: 3Staff were friendly but too busy to pay attention.Store: 3Tables are too crowded and cleanliness is just average.Price: 2.5We were with our 6 year old son who's only an inch more than 4feet but we paid full price. He is not a big eater. They should have price bracket for kids based on high and kids should not pay the full price because they can't consume as much as an adult can and considering that their menu don't offer a lot of choices for kids.

I highly recommend this buffet if you are looking for affordable eat all you can restaurants. The choices of foods are not that many because of the price, but the taste of their foods are the best. The only food that I don't like in this restaurant is their carbonara and the garlic bread that is hard. It seems like they recycled it for many days lol.
