Great food! Loved the ambiance in their garden, I was able to work because of the quiet atmosphere. Can't wait to go back with my husband or my friends to taste the other dishes!

We brought our friend for a date few months ago at Kandle. The venue is very very pleasing although we had hard time parking our vehicle. Kandle recognized my reservation although they misspelled my name and displayed it onn a reserved table. Now the food. I had a simple slab of meat, nothing too special croquettes were good tho and the other one that I can't remember anymore (not that good)Coffees were good but they served mine with some spills on the saucer. Then we had slices of cake that we will always remember. Wife didn't like the salted caramel cake as they took it to the next level, literally sprinkling large salt crystals into the outer layer of the cake.I also wanted to share this experience but I am not really blaming the restaurant. The next morning, I had a terrible diarrhea and ruined our anniversary date. My wife and I shared all the food we ate the whole day of visit except for the porterhouse I ordered. Let me know what you think.

A hidden and quiet cafe in Quezon City, Kandle Cafe has an indoor and outdoor dining area perfect for enjoying a light meal and a cup of hot or cold coffee, while savoring that well-deserved me-time. The cafe itself is a visual delight, spacious beautiful interior warm lighting, homey vibe - perfect for the stressed-out urbanite to unwind. ☕️Kandle Cafe offers an ample menu consisting of Asian, American and Filipino fare that you will definitely not pass up.The restaurant is so spacious yet feel cozy and homey. The interior gives you a warm holiday feel. It has an indoor space and an outdoor garden al fresco. I recommend this place for large groups. A lot of students and business people hang out here because of the ambiance. I went here on a day that it was jampacked and yet it still feels quiet and intimate. 🤎🍴 Food Review Black Calamares (Php390)Black ink-battered deep fried squid with chili pepper mayo〰️ We ordered this for our appetizer and it definitely gave us a good start! The crispiness of the calamares was so impeccable! I might come back just for this.Mr. Egoy and Ms. Eggy Pasta (Php310)Squid ink tagliatelle with bacon and salted egg cream sauce topped with a 63 degrees poached egg, served with pan de mi〰️ No wonder why this is their best-selling dish. The egg was perfectly cooked which made the pasta very rich and creamy. The noodles were cooked al dente. The bacon and salted egg cream sauce were a perfect mix of savoury goodness!Kandle Burger (Php325) 100% pure beef patty stuffed with cheezy tomato center on a brioche bun with an eggy surprise, served with kamote fries〰️ The sunny side up egg nestled in a hole on top of the burger bun looks so fancy that you wouldn’t even want to touch it. Although the size of the burger was a tad small compared to your usual burger, the patty and burger slice were both really thick. The meat was oozing with juiciness! The sweet potato side is also healthier option than your regular fries.BBQ Chicken (Php325)Boneless chicken barbeque with poached egg, buttered corn, and mixed greens in red wine vinaigrette, served with rice〰️ This was my least favorite among my other orders but it is also one of their best sellers. I am not a fan of the sweet and sour bbq sauce just because I don’t like sweet viands. The chicken was also a little difficult to cut and hard to chew. House Blend Iced Tea (Php140) - Raspberry〰️ I love their Iced Tea! It was a little too sweet yet I liked it because of the raspeberry flavor. I just asked for extra ice to balance out the sweetness. I wish this was a little bit closer to where I live so I can stay here whenever I want some quiet me-time. This is a really nice place to hang out and chill. I will definitely be back to try their coffee and desserts too! 🧁

This place offers good ambience, good food, and good tea and coffee. They're environment-friendly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They're always smiling. The one I can recommend is their Carrot Bar and Banana Chocolate Walnut and their Ceylon Tea Latte.

Came here on a Saturday night around 9PM and the place was still packed. We ordered the Kimchi Tortilla and the Mr. Egoy and Ms. Eggy pasta. The tortilla was decent but omg the pasta was sooo good. I guess improving the courteousness of the staff could help but overall I really enjoyed my meal. Would come back!

The green surrounding gives it a more chills and somewhat away from the metro feels. Relax vibes indeed. Food was good. It's just that I find the Egoy and Eggy Pasta "nakaka-umay".Kandle Burger - Php325***Beef patty with cheese, tomato and an egg centered in a brioche bun. Came here on a Sunday night at 9pm. Ordered 2 salmon, grilled pork belly, 1 porterhouse steak and a fruit&veggy juice.PROSFood is great. Ambiance is very cozy.Wide variety of food selection.Sustainable and environment friendly.CONSService is unfortunately bad. Server leaves halfway while we were speaking (always on a rush and only listens to your first 3 words) & does not even look at us + forgets 2 out of 3 of our request. (i.e no knife for the steak, we requested the non-spicy dip for my grandma so we asked for a replacement etc.). Cashier and crew doesnt smile. You get the feel they dont want you eating there. I hope this is improved since the food and place is so nice.

Kandle Cafe is that beautiful hidden nook that gives you the Tagaytay feels in Morato. We got to try:🥘 Kimchi Tortilla - Was quite bland. Weird how the lettuce over powered the flavor of the beef too. Tip: don’t name something “Kimchi Tortilla” if it tastes nothing like kimchi🥘 Mr. Egoy & Ms. Eggy Pasta - At first the pasta was quite dry, but once mixed that fixed it. Flavors were strong and good for the 1st few bites but after awhile it can get a little too much. Better for sharing with others!🥘 QC Maki - I love this one! The crunch and cheese was a great twist to the normal california maki. Serving was huge and can easily fill you and your friends up.🥘 Carrot Cake - Super moist and dense — just the way carrot cake should be! Similar to Wildflour’s carrot cake so this is definitely a win.Kandle Cafe had it’s ups and downs, but the ambiance, value for money, and dessert choices are all factors that will make me come back.

We heard a lot of good things about Kandle so we were a bit expecting quite a lot from them. Sadly, when we visited, they moved ordering to a centralized area which is quite bothersome for us who loves food too much and loves adding on our initial orders. They didn’t have much drinks available when we visited other than Dalandan Juice (they kept on recommending this since they ran out of most items on the menu — no iced tea, no juices.. we didn’t like milkshakes because of the milk). There was no Coke Zero/Light too so it’s either get bottled water or get tea. On the food, we generally loved everything but because of the pandemic they serve all their food in takeout boxes so my husband had to use plastic knife to “cut” his Porterhouse, he had to use his hands in the end to be able to properly consume his food. A bit sad and disappointed with the experience but still wanting to go back when they go back to “normal” operations where food are served in plates and we’re able to take photos of the food in a nicer way.Items on the menu we would order again: Pomelo & Shrimp Salad, Monggo & Black Calamares

Disclaimer. We visited Feb 2021 during COVID. The service could use a lot of improvement. You enter and sign in for contact tracing and you pretty much figure it out as you go. There was no one to lead you to the tables. No one explaining how to order. Really not accommodating at all. Its clean as you go here which is great but the other visitors did not seem to know. The only table available for three was not clean and we had put away the trash and clean the table ourselves. We just ordered drinks and left right away.
