We got carried away by the website rating and we regretted it. Maybe our expectations got too high, I don't know. The good:- ambience is nice, the place looks really good- easy to find- servings are bigThe bad:- the place is really small so if you go there on peak hours, you might not have a spot- food was served cold, we ordered mozzhamrella sticks hoping it will be served hot but it wasn't- pasta sticks too much on my teeth that I got tired eating it

What could have been a great experience from the nice ambience and delicious 'puting adobo' was ultimately dragged down by poor furnishing and tepid coffee.Place looked great and inviting, clean, and bright. Decors were nice, the place is small and felt a bit cramped. Chairs and tables were terribly uncomfortable—If you're looking for a 'café' to chill, chat, or do some work at, I would definitely not recommend this place (but if you're looking for a place where you're forced to meet and chat, or break-up with someone, then this would be a good place to do those things. Hahaha). The chairs had very straight backrests and small seats. You'll tend to wiggle around and change positions every now and then—but then you can't do much, much less cross your legs or move them around because of the very small space you have underneath the table. The legs of the table occupied too big of a space to give you any leg space. There were a couple of mosquitoes and flying insects pestering me, too.The 'grandma's white adobo' was spectacular. It's one of the best adobo's I've had here in Manila! Meat was tender, it wasn't super salty, just slightly sweet, and had the right amount of sour in it. The beef tapa wasn't too good, though. It was a bit too dry and crumbly (perhaps over tenderized). Saba con hielo was nice in that it wasn't too sweet yet flavorful, but the saba pieces were a little too few and a little too hard. The coffee tasted fresh, had good flavor, but came in...tepid. Hot coffee that isn't hot just isn't too good. The cashier lady was warm and accommodating, and serving time was decent. Coffee was served a little too slow, though. Perhaps that's why it was tepid?

Food - 5/5Ambience - 4/5Service - 5/5A good place to work/study. Food and drinks are cheap. Good number of parking slots. Wifi available. The second floor is reserved for meetings, birthday celebrations and special events. It gets really noisy but it's not a problem that earphones/headphones couldn't fix.FeelsGoodMan

Typical to a small cafe/restaurant, K&L Cafe by Blushing Cupcakes looks pretty inviting. My general feeling was that of a laid-back and chic Filipino restaurant in Quezon City. What can this small diner bring on the table?I decided to try two of their specialties.1. Lola Nena’s Adobong Puti(Price as of writing: Php 229.00)Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️The Filipino favorite adobo in white sauce served with tomatoes, salted egg and a cup of red and white garlic rice. 2. Sinigang na Bagnet with Strawberry(Price as of writing: Php 369.00)Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Familiar Filipino sinigang fix made extraordinary with crispy bagnet and strawberry.Beverage: Famous Strawberry Calamansi(Price as of writing: Php 119.00)Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A refreshing twist to familiar calamansi drink.IG: @christianrandoyRead full review at https://christianrandoy.wordpress.com/

K&L Cafe tries to bring Baguio here in Quezon City. They offer classic Filipino food with northern twists. We ordered the following: Buffalo Tenders with Blue Cheese Dip, Chicken and Mushroom, Parmesan Wings, Two-Timer Fish and Chips, and Sinigang Bagnet with Strawberries.I think everyone on our team was pretty satisfied with what we individually ordered, though, I think I need to give a special shot out to their Sinigang Bagnet with Strawberries. It was my colleague's all-time favorite dish! Was the food good? Yes! Was it filling? Yes! Was it worth it? Err, it depends. For the price you are paying, I wouldn't be honest if I say you are not better off somewhere else.
