An old mansion turned into a bistro, Juanito's is a perfect chilling place atFairview. It was one of my recent discoveries and I immediately set-up adinner with my colleagues, one of them is getting married this week and we wantto throw a mini party for her. Juanito's ambience fitted what we're looking for - alfresco, subdued lighting, white walls, homey, couches and throw pillows, andgreat music playlist. Ironically, none of us drinks but we all liked thephotos they've posted on website so we gave it a try. Since we were having thisso-called mini party, I asked the staff if we can stay on the 2nd floor of theal fresco area. I know that me and my colleagues were pretty crazy and loud so Iwant to stay away from other customers. I got on the venue earlier than ouragreed time. I was the one who was tasked to reserve a table for us and thestaff was helpful, even agreed to be an accomplice to the crime for the surprisewe had for our friend. My bad, I didn't get his name. I thought there was anongoing event because the place was adorned with balloons, the staff said thosewere because of last night's event they catered. Happily, I went ahead andreserved 3 tables for us.The place gave me a resort feels during day time, only there's no pool.Actually, there was. But they set up a wooden platform on top of it andmaximized the place for another set of tables and chairs. I recommend this placefor all types of functions. They also have an airconditioned function room whichyou can book for a fee. When the lights came on, the resort feels vanished andreplaced by a romantic mood. The Main EventCheese Sticks with garlic mayo dipBeef NachosOnion RingsLiempoBoneless BangusBeef with mixed vegetablesJuanito's Bistro offers Filipino dishes of pork, beef, chicken, seafood, pastas and grilled dishes. They have plenty of liquors and cocktails to choosefrom but sadly there's no mojito. The pica-pica were awesome - melted cheese oncheese sticks and the onion rings were fried just right! The liempo hasoverpowering barbecue sauce on it because it tasted sweet. The boneless banguswas their winning dish that night because we all love it - the plating wasunusual and it wasn't overdone. The mixed vegetables was not overcooked and hasthick sauce but just average. We had to order the viands in multiple because weall liked it! Actually, we didn't expect that they serve great foods. We justnoticed that the liempo they serve the second time was quite a lot than thefirst one. Also, the second batch of boneless bangus was a bit salty. Nocomplaints, just mere observations. We were billed around P2000, inclusive of service charge.Time of visit: 21 Dec 2014

⭕ al fresco and air-conditioned area⭕ location is easy to find, not too far from the main road⭕ clean⭕ quiet and relaxing, homey feels-* idk if the area is just too big but we had a bit of a hard time calling the staff for our concerns* food is okay, a bit pricey for a small serving* no bucket orders for the beers Perfect for your "chill" moments.

Of you don't want to be far from Fairview area this is a good place to chill. With affordable price of drinks and food. Also, some bars do not offer desserts but good thing they do. Recommended for TGIFs. 😊

My friends and I live nearby the area so it is very accessible. The place is cool and very comfy to stay at, it was like you're just at home chilling. The place itself was actually an old mansion renovated and turned into a bistro. They have air-conditioned room, and some private rooms so you can sing along for an affordable price per hour but it's more lovely to stay in their open area since they have good ventilation. Food and drinks are priced reasonably and very affordable. They offer different varieties of food although their liquor & liqueur are limited. This place is cool and fun to stay at to have some chill moments with friends. 👍🏼

My friends and I went here because we cannot ignore its signage near Fairview Gen across Pearl Drive. The dining space is enormous! Good for large group gatherings. Plus, it is not so crowded when we came here to dine, that it looks like we rent the whole restaurant for just the three of us.We were expecting foods that are quite expensive since the place looks like it, but we were surprised to see it's now so pricey at all. We liked the food and I think that the price is just right for it. I would recommend it to my friends and to my relatives living near Fairview as well.

I ate here once. The place is very big and has a nice ambiance. But the waiters are very hard to find and sometimes they ignore you even if they already saw you calling for them. Then most of the food I wabted to order wasn't available.I ended up ordering crispy bicol express which i didn't find the taste very pleasing. The coconut milk was not well cooked.Im not going to return to this place again.
