Went there last Sunday (Dec. 11). First off, the crew seemed to be trying to scam customers for an upsell. They said solo drinks (P50) and softdrink in cans (P90) are not available on weekends so you're limited to bottomless drinks (P119) and milkshakes (P215). I just basically told them, no you cannot do that without any indications up front or on the menu. Then from their burgers menu I ordered the roast beef burger (P235). Expecting a burger topped with thinly sliced roast beef slices, I get a standard bun with just thin strips (like bacon thin) of roast beef and some cheese...and it didn't come with fries unlike the other burger offerings. Since I pretty much used up all arguments on their softdrink scam, I got exasperated with the burger issue and just ate my pathetic "roast beef burger" grudgingly. So I'm not surprised they didn't even hit a 2.5 rating here in website.

I've had high expectations from this restaurant because the price of the food in the menu is expensive. But boy, no words can describe my disappointment. We went there at 2am but it is not an excuse for a sloppy service. Upon seating,no one approached us and I had to stand up and approach the counter so we can get our menu. The menu is printed out in a bond paper. Yes you read it right, bond paper! We browsed through and order 2 kinds of 1/3pound burger. The food is okay, i like how thick, juicy and tasty their bacons are and the patty tastes juicy. The veggies and fries are also fresh. It's a shame their service does not keep up with the quality of the food. When I asked for ketchup, they gave us the ones in a packet and claimed they ran out of ketchup which is so weird because a restaurant as big as theirs should not ran out of the basic stuff like bottled ketchup. When I asked for more ketchup, the waitress gave me more but when I checked, there was an opened, empty packet of ketchup which means the ketchup packets might have been just picked up from another customer who left them and recycled the packets by giving it to us. When I requested for mayonnaise, the waitress said I had to pay an extra 10php and I was shocked because they are not fast-food so I was not expecting for them to ask for an extra charge for a basic sauce for a burger. While eating, we noticed that the waitress was using her cellphone to pass time...at the counter. SMH. When we asked for more water, she got my boyfriend's glass and did not ask if I want water too. She did not return with the water and we had to remind her about it. I asked for water for myself and the same thing happened, she forgot to give it back but what's worse is when I reminded her about it, she said, "ay isa pa po?" First of, miss I already asked for it and you just forgot to bring it back, secondly, you should not be asking us that, and in that tone. This is beyond disappointing especially for the fact that all along I thought this was one of the better burger joints. This made me realize that the saying, "you get what you pay for" is not always true.

This restore offered great memories. My friend treated me here back in 2011 for my birth day. One of the best vanilla shake! Aside from great burgers and fries of course!! Burp!!! 😍😘😍😘

I like their new burger, Highway 54. I also like the theme of the resto because for me there is always that feeling of nostalgia whenever I see the jukebox and the posters. Reminds me of the good old days when life was simple. It would be nice though if the jukebox does function. Staff are quite nice, just need to smile more.

Well, Johnny Rockets is a love and hate story. I think everybody likes the decoration and the environment the restaurant creates. Recently, Feb-2016, they changed the furniture and it looks very nice. So why hate? The burgers need a bust. The burgers are very traditional and simple. In fact, too expensive since they are basically lettuce, tomato, burger and bread. Since it stays open until very late it's a good option but you can look for other places before sitting there. I gotta mention their milkshake is very good. This one is very traditional shake for a reasonable price.

Tried out the burger for the day last Sunday (Saturday pala). Nothing special, but at least they have bottomless coffee 😊😊😊. It was just a burger with mushrooms and onion.

We stayed overnight at the hotel in eastwood and tried this for lunch before going home on our last day. ugggh, the burger was bad. Service was good and the place is very well decorated and maintained but the food was awful. I don't know how this franchise even works. I will never eat at Johnny Rockets again. I gave some points for the awesome vintage burger joint setup and the service but really zero points for the food.

Not a place where I would readily go to despite my long existing love affair with burgers because of its priciness. But, at 2am on a Saturday straight from Lipa, only this place could satisfy a weary traveller. Place looks very cool from the way tables were designed, a jukebox in the middle and some crazily cute teeny-weeny bit of small replicas at some tables. Female staff said the small jukebox versions used to work. Place was ours the entire time so service was quick. Food didn't meet my expectations at all. My Roast Beef Burger was served plainly in a melaware plate without garnish nor proper plating. Her Original Burger looked a little bit better because it came with unlimited fries on the side. My Roast Beef already tasted a little bit bitter because it was too salty and the onions tasted and looked almost a little stale. Saving grace was THE yummiest strawberry sundae I have ever tasted in my entire life! Price was ludicrous for such a meal.

Quite pricey burgers are offered here. I thought they are going to serve big burgers with big patties. Even the presentation disappoints me. With the taste, it's impressive. Sa lasa bumawi ung Johnny Rockets. We ordered Hamburger Steak, Roast Beef Burger, and the Rockets Single. Drinks are also pricey but it's bottomless naman. Service is nice.

Nestling where you’d least expect it, on part of a modern, fast-paced estate near East Side's most popular mall is this 50’s American diner, Johnny Rockets! The decor and the menu are set out to mirror the classic American establishment to a tee, and they do it really really well. With booths down the side, stools all along the bar and memorabilia everywhere such as a neon cola sign and USA licence plates it really is a throwback to the 1950’s. Waiting staff come dressed in bright vintage clothing and with perfectly quaffed hair and super smiles on their faces. All there is left do to is sit back and imagine you’re an extra in Grease! They have a list of Burgers and ‘Hot Diggity’ Dogs as long as your arm, as well as various fish dishes, and other bits and bobs. I went for a Classic Philly Sandwich– which came with fried onions, cheese and hot sauce. The cheese was cheese slices and the portions gigantic, but hey, thats America right? The food was very typical American, and while it didn’t blow my socks off, and I must admit I was hoping for slightly more retro presentation with the food – chips in baskets etc, I think the concept is awesome, and what these guys are doing in this little village is funky and very very fun.
