Craving for Japanese food then suddenly we stopped in this restaurant. We didn't think twice to give it a try. The taste was good for the price. It also has a small bakeshop inside the restaurant.Food - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Service - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Ambiance - ⭐️⭐️⭐️Value for Money - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went here still full from our heavy lunch, so we just had crunchy salmon maki and katsudon. The maki was the right combination of spice and crunch. The katsudon however, tasted like the pork was cooked the day before, and just topped on hot rice and egg. The presentation wasn't appetizing as well.

Tried their dynamite roll and their oyakodon, I can't say that I really liked their oyakodon, as the chicken was kind of dry. Their dynamite roll was good, however they make their roll a bit too big, making it difficult to eat it in one bite. Overall, there's stuff here worth trying, I'm just not sure I'd come back again and again once I've tried them.

Celebrated mom's birthday here. Serves good value food though lacking in quality specifically with their ramen. The variety of dishes in their menu entices you to come back again. Will try their bread and pastries when I come back.

Went here around 1 PM for Sunday lunch with my family.Good portions, and the food in general was great, with decent value for price. Service, however, left something to be desired. They "ran out" of their usual bowls/sauce plates and utensils, so we were given other plates. (Restaurant did not look filled to capacity). Servers would also forget our requests for utensils or water, and have to be reminded.Ambience is pretty decent, and a bread display really helps to whet the appetite.Fair warning - their menu isn't fully upfront about the main flavors/ingredients of dishes. Was unhappy, for one, that the miso cream pasta, advertised as having "miso, cream and shiitake mushroom" had tons of bacon, and tasted more like carbonara than a cream pasta. We also weren't informed that the sushi pizza would have mango instead of avocado, as the latter was not available. That aside, still definitely worth a visit.Dynamite Roll was a little too large for the mouth, but standard tasty crunchy Kewpie-tempura topping. Fire Dragon roll was good.Sushi Pizza tasted decent, if a bit oily. They also subbed out avocado for mango, as mentioned, so it may come off even more oily in its normal form.Jipan poppers, were okay -- not a personal favorite. I found it clumpy and dry. Also, the dipping sauce tasted distracting rather than complementary. Family seemed to like it thoughKani salad and spicy tuna salad are pretty standard, but the vegetables are crunchy and the flavors are good. Generous amounts of sauce on both -- but I'm not a huge fan of sauce.Rice bowls (Oyakodon, Gyudon) as well were good - better than your run of the mill Japanese restaurant.Chuukara ramen is just the right amount of spice, and definitely a huge, filling portion. Kudos to a decent egg, with a slightly jelly-like yolk. Excellent dish to warm your body.Saba Nitsuke was delicious. Cooked until just a little flaky, but still with a nice bite. Beef Yakisoba Okonomiyaki is more noodle dish than okonomiyaki -- however, savory-sweet, filling and delicious. If you're not looking for an okonomiyaki, it's a great order.Overall, I'd come back - maybe on off-peak hours. :)

I had a great time exploring Jipan. This high end Japanese bakery has what it takes to present itself as a uniquely styled restaurant chain in the area. We tried some of their delectable creations. These included:. The Seafood Okonomiyaki, lastly, was a round of pancake topped with sliced cabbage, squid, and brown sauce. It had a salty and bitter taste that was complemented with wonderful dish presentation. I'm not a fan of Okonomiyaki; but I like the pancake's texture and generous topping of cabbage.

Big coffee servings :) Service was speedy and servers were very attentive. Love their bread and pastries!I only came for the coffee and pastries. Didn't realize there were meals available! The ramen looked promising. Will be back to explore the food with the hubsky and bebe.PS. Very spacious and has a relaxing ambiance. Also stroller-friendly ;) forgot to ask if they had high chairs though (sorry mommas - next time!)

We tried this resto because it was recommended by my colleague. I ordered the following:Chicken sandwich - it comes with fries on the side. I love the bread, so soft and fluffy. Chicken is so flavorful, the mayonnaise is just enough to compliment the rest of the ingredientsDynamite roll - this one I really love. This is a must try. With kani, tamago, cucumber, tempura and tempura bits on top of the maki. Not your ordinary maki. The tempura bits with a special sauce is the best The servers are really friendly. The ambiance is nice as well. I will definitely going back here to try their other dish and their cakes.

Used to be my favorite authentic Japanese Restaurant when I was still in my younger years. They're known for their delicious yet affordable dishes and pastries! Love their unagi, katsudon, fresh sashimi, tempura and bento boxes.
