Nothing extra special with the food, but it's not that bad either. The pork sisig was ok but i think it was all chicharon, nothing else. The inasal has this sour taste that my boyfriend and i didn't like. Well i'm not gonna judge them just because i didn't like 2 out of so many dishes soooo i think 3 is fair enough :)

It was already 3pm and I haven't eaten any meal yet. I see this restaurant quite often but we haven't tried it so my mom and I gave it a shot. We ordered the 2-way adobo which was really delicious but when we took it home it became very salty so that turned me off. The Baguio chopsuey is a 10/10 but what really disappointed me was the sans rival because it was so bland. The food was served really fast and it's not crowded so that's a plus. I don't know if I'll come back to this restaurant but it was a good try.

Merienda time while waiting for my prescription glasses at EO. I ordered the dinuguan with puto, ginataang mais and gulaman at sago.The dinuguan was impeccably seasoned. My only complaint is the amount of ginger slivers. The ratio was literally one sliver to a spoonful! They could just have taken them out before serving.The ginataang mais was humongous! It can serve 2 or 3 people. It was alright. Nothing special, but a nice comfort food nonetheless.The sago at gulaman had too much sago and gulaman,but I love that they ice blended the drink.I will come back and try the other fares.And so I went back today, November 5. Still reeling from the amazing film A Monster Calls, I headed out to Jay J's for dinner. I ordered the kare kare and boy, it was the bomb! The meat was tender and the sauce was oh so heavenly good! The veggies that came with it perfectly complemented the dish. I have one question though, "What's up with the knotted string beans?" I'm upping the score to 4.0 because of that unforgettable kare kare. Went back on 12.10.2016. Ordered the karekare laman again. This time I was with my mom so I ordered more. We got the sinigang na sugpo, crispy tenga, pinakbet, and for our drinks, 2 glasses of melon shake. The karekare was a hit, as expected. My mom loved it. Everything else was so-so. The sinigang didn't have sugpo but just large shrimps. And they weren't fresh, my mom saw how some parts of the shrimp are grayish. They were also overcooked hence almost rubbery in texture. The pinakbet was simple enough with small pork bits and a drizzle of chicharon crumbs. The crispy tenga is makunat! Walang lasa. So I'm updating the rating to 3.0. Mukhang karekare lang panlaban nila.

We almost go there most of the time, esp when were craving Filipino foods. We always ordered Bopis, Sisig, Kare kare and Sinigang na Tanigue. The food was so delicious. 100/100. Bopis was my all time favorite. And we ordered 4 extra rice. 🙈 I'm an ofw so therefore I'm really craving for filipino foods, so Jay jays didn't failed me. They served fast and inconvenient. But this time around when we came here yesterday, the ambiance was not so really good. The air-conditioner was not functioning. It was so hot that time when we came for dine. The service was not so good and not very approachable. But overall the foods was tasty. Definitely would love to come back. 😊

My family's fav resto! Super sarap ng Fil food like Kare kare and sisig!! Worth it kahit medyo mahal. :)) perfect to eat with your family :))))

I gave 4.0 just because I like the taste of there oxtail Kare Kare and Beef steak.But there service is very poor.Even when the waiters see the customers they just pass by them.It also takes a long time for them to refill there bottomless ice tea. For customer service and other food I've tried I will vote -0 if possible.

Jay J's serves good Filipino food for a reasonable price! :)My favorite from this restaurant has got to be their sisig! So yummy! However, I noticed that the service is extremely slow during peak hours (lunch or dinner time). Aside from that, my experience in Jay J's has been pleasant. Interior is okay tho, nothing special.

Jay J's a nice place to dine in because their branch in SM Fairview is spacious. The chairs and tables are comfortable too. At night, people flock in this restaurant because if I am not mistaken they serve beer. Our last visit was when I had lunch with my husband and we wanted something Filipino and some veggies. Jay J's has a big serving of chopsuey, thick and meaty. Then we partnered it with chicharong bulaklak which we are getting to be more fond of eating (unhealthy as it is). For dessert, I had their nice looking buko pandan, a little bit sweet for my taste, but I still managed to finish the whole serving.I gave it 4 because their serving is quick, maybe because there aren't a lot of customers during lunch hours on weekdays, but also because the waiter is friendly and because of the overall comfort when we were there.

Jay J's Inasal is one of my favorite restaurants in SM fairview.Service is good and the place itself is not too crowded.I recommend their sizzling bulalo, angus burger and sizzling sisig. Leche flan for dessert is also good.Beware though of their sinigang na sugpo because they don't use real sugpo but just plain big shrimps.Over-all, this place is still a good place to dine for average income earners like us. Good food and affordable price.
