I'm a fan of this cafe, simple yet cozy, the food is great! Specially my all time favorite, chicken crema al pesto :) I must say that il padrino is way better than sb :)

I #love #Il #Padrino #Coffee in Fairview. The place to me is comducive for reading and having coffee. It is also the perfect venue for conferences and workshops. I love their homecooked style pizzas and pastas. Definitely awesome ambiance and food!

They also have another branch in Robinsons Galleria just infront of Victory Church at the 4th floor (near paeng's skybowl location). They serve good coffee and food! My favorite is their pesto and their club house!! For a change I ordered their Parmigiana chicken pasta. Chicken was tender and pasta was aldente. I would always come back for this resto. Affordable and good food and oh! Staff was courteous too! Thank you il padrino! 😊

Not in the mood for the usual Starbucks and my friends & I wanted coffee and dessert...We were greeted very warmly as we passed by, so we took a chance to try out this place... The staff were so courteous and helpful, super plus points!👏 We asked lots of questions from our very helpful waitress... She suggested their Opera cake for dessert, one of their best sellers, which she claimed was not sweet and had a coffee base... My friend wanted an ice-blended beverage, so the choco macadamia frappe was suggested... As I'm not a fan of frappes, I went for the Iced Mocha, though the Iced Latte was apparently one of their sellable drinks...😁So we waited as they prepared our drinks... We took in the place, which was cozy yet big... The walls were covered with wallpaper depicting scenes from Italy... Lots of seats to choose from, plus not too cold inside the store... A great place to study! We continued to study their menu after ordering, as they offered sandwiches and pasta on top of the drinks... Looks promising, very affordable, though I cannot comment on the serving sizes... The cake came and isn't it cute?😊 it was good!👍 the waitress was spot on, not too sweet with coffee undertones! Nice texture! We both enjoyed it... The Choco Macadamia frappe was so good!😄 again, not too sweet and you can really taste the macadamia and the chocolate! The taste was not overwhelming, liked it!😊 on the other hand, I should have listened regarding the Caffe Latte! Their Iced Cafe Mocha was like an iced cold Chuckie!😜 a more expensive version of the same thing! Shucks!😁 prices are cheaper than the big chains... But, they don't have the nonfat or soy milk option... Sad!But you guys will enjoy this place! They have lots of other cakes and coffees to choose from! If you ever get bored of Starbucks or SBC, this is a good place to try...😊

Review summary:My family has been raving about this place and I finally tried it out. The best thing about this resto is definitely their service. If I would rate the food alone, I would have given them 3/5, but the servers were very polite and attentive. The food was slightly above so-so/sakto lang. The price is a little steep on some dishes, and is fair on some as well. Serving is good, enough to fill a belly. Hindi ka na kakapusin. Full detail review:The food isn't bad at all, it makes a decent meal. But it wasn't superb as well. The good thing about all the dishes is their serving. They gave us a really fair amount and made us all full. Beef Mozzarella (4/5) - it was the best for me and I got lucky because it's the one I ordered. I like the amount of cheese/sauce in it. It's not too much and hindi ka rin tinipid. It was delish, but I could have given a 4.5 or higher, but the beef is a little chewy and tough to my liking. If the beef is a lot more tender, I would given it a higher mark for sure. Also, it's a little pricey for me. It almost hit the P400 mark, a price point that I have high standards for. The pastas (3/5) - I'm on the edge on this one. The one in red sauce is a little nakaka umay. The beef isn't really good. The oil based pasta one lacked taste for me. One is a little too much and the other lacks life. They were both decent for me, maybe they needed some little tweaks to improve everything. For the amount of serving, the price is really fair. When a pasta dish is priced around P200, i don't expect too much, so this one is really good for the price. The pork chop (3.75/5) - this one is good too. It's tasty and not too rough like the beef one. If you fancy pork chops, you should get this one. The serving is good as well, one may opt to order extra rice for this. The Panini (3.25/5) - it was just a typical panini. Not good, but not bad as well. But if you feel like just eating a sandwich or you're on the go, this one is really worth a try and price. The drinks  (2.5/5) - for a cafe, i have higher standards for their beverages. Their hot choco, tho presented well, tasted cheap and like a milo. The matcha frappe was meh, a little to sweet and I didn't get much matcha out of it. The best drink we had is their house blended iced tea. It was good, but still, I won't go to a cafe just to have an iced tea. Service (4/5) - I am commending their staff. They made the experience pleasurable in addition to the cozy ambiance. Good investment. Brownie with cream cheese (3/5) - it was hella hard AF. They were still edible tho. The good thing is, it still tastes good.Final thoughts: Since I haven't tried so much around Fairview, I might still recommend the place. But is it a type of place na dadayuhin mo? I might not. Will I eat here again? Probably, but I might try some other places to know where its caliber stands around the area. And if ever I do come back again, I might want to order other dishes like their pizza, the shrimp scampi and their eggs benedict.

Went here for a meeting and the ambience felt “home-y”. The pizza was the traditional italian made pizza made from cheese and herbs, and was really flavorful. The beef entree (forgot the exact name) was tender and it went well with melted cheese and sautéed potatoes. Yet to try their coffee, but I’ve heard that it’s really good!

I keep coming back to this place because it’s so comfy! They serve coffee, pasta, pizza, rice meals etc. . Anyway, this is my personal favorite. Their coffee and clubhouse sandwich. The coffee is just the awesome blend and the sandwich is great!  . I also suggest that you try their oatmeal cookie because it’s filling and superb!

it was my first time to visit their branch in Fairview for a quick break. since im on my so called "diet" i ordered salad. service time was quite fast, took us like 10 mins. for our meal. Presentation was great, but the taste wasn't good enough to satisfy my buds. according to my friend, there's nothing special about the pesto but the bread pulled it off and was done perfectly.

This branch has been here since I was in College and never went there until I was working and It's a shame that I had to wait sooo long to try their Chocolate Hazelnut shake! If you need a place for "me" time then this branch really can offer a comfortable nook for you.
