I frequent their Fairview branch and liked it because it's something that I can go to that's not inside a mall! Now that they've opened one, I can't help but compare them. Since I've already made a review for the Mt Sinai branch, here are some points from my observation on their newly opened branch:- brick walls and floors with ceiling-to-floor posters that makes you feel like you're eating al fresco in Italy (yes, Eat Pray Love movie). It was kind of totally different ambience from their Mt Sinai branch but the latter is more homey for me;- equally great food;- friendly & prompt staff. During our visit, it was only Grace that was on-duty but she managed to get the customers request promptly; The Main EventChicken Crema Al PestoPasta CarbonaraMargherita Pasta with Herbed FishItalian White PizzaGrilled Lemon Chicken SaladOrange JuiceItalian Soda (Peach)I like their vinaigrette on the salad, it tasted really refreshing. The vegies were fresh and the chicken was grilled perfectly. The pasta dishes were average, although the Carbonara was remarkable. It was creamy and deliciously good. You can easily know the difference between a ready-made pesto and one from fresh herbs. We were kinda disappointed because what they've was a ready-made one. The margherita pasta wasn't my preference and it surprisingly good - white sauce with grilled tomatoes and herbed cream dory on top. If you don't feel like eating a creamy pasta, try this one out. Next was the pizza. They were kind enough to provide us parmesan cheese (you know how my S/O loves cheese). It was a 10in thin-crust pizza baked just right, they don't scrimp on the toppings with generous serving of cheese. I suggest, eat it while it's warm because the dough tasted like Sky Flakes when cold. I was nursing a sore throat that night and I don't want too much sweets, the staff was kind enough to accommodate my request - OJ with 50% sugar level. The place is ideal when catching up with friends and great with family bondings, too.Time of visit: 27 Feb 2015 20:30

Pastas are really my passion when it comes to food so i really like eating different tastes of pasta. When i ate here they said that their serving of pastas are good enough for two, well, may i say, as someone whos not really a big-eater, their serving are really only for one. But the taste didnt dissapont me. I love their aglio olio, the taste of sourness and salty at the same time really made me enjoyed it.

I have introduced my 11-year-old daughter to pasta and cheesecakes of Il Padrino in their Galleria and Mt. Sinai branches. She came to love their strawberry cheesecake and blueberry cheesecake. I agree with her: both cheesecake varieties are really gooood. When we were in Fairview Terraces for the first time today, she asked to have a snack. Having heard an Il Padrino branch is around, I brought up the idea of having cheesecake again. Good thing she agreed. We got to have bites of the yummmmy blueberry cheesecake again. It was a delight!I even got a takeout of the cheesecake to present to a friend.

I love this restaurant and coffee shop. First, it’s very quiet and I like it that way. Coffee shops in Metro Manila are mostly busy these days, so it’s nice to stay in one place where I can just eat good food, enjoy my coffee and read a book. . Today though I came here to get a chocolate cake to celebrate my first year anniversary with my girlfriend. You can get a cake like this for 200 pesos and it can feed up to four people.

I love their clandestine site somewhere inside Terraces. It makes the sound inside the mall inaccessible to the resto. Ambience is comfy. Plugs are everywhere, I can work yeah! Food choices are vast; meal to pasta or iced coffee, they have it. They have Wi-Fi. And most of all, not expensive. I actually recommend this place to friends who want comfy and wifi with pasta menu.

    1. This is one of my favorite places to have lunch/dinner in Fairview Terraces. The place is small and cozy and tucked away in the obscure part of the mall. Chances are the table beside yours is occupied by a student reviewing for an exam or a professional poring over a spredsheet. No big family gatherings here -- you can eat your meal in peace. I do wish they more comfortable chairs though.2. Recently, I sampled their Beef Mozzarella, Orange Juice, a bar of Blondies and their "best-selling" blueberry cheesecake (for take-out). I enjoyed the Beef Mozarella. The beef was tender and cream/mozzarella was "almost" perfect -- the taste was almost on the salty side (forgivable). The dish was served with steamed rice and thin slices of potato. The potatoes were good - I wish I was served with more slices lol.3. Orange juice was OK (I think it's salted?).4. The desserts were a disappointment. The desserts may have been intentionally less sweet. The bar of Blondies I had was bland and hard -- fork had a challenging time puncturing it lol. As for the blue berry cheesecake, Il Padrino tried to give it a twist by adding coconut somewhere. Either the coconut flavor was added to the cream/icing or it was underneath the crust. Anyhow, thanks to the coconut, I didn't taste the blueberry. Or the blueberry was bland too in the first place. Truth is: that was the saddest cheesecake I've ever tasted. lol.5. Service was okay. Orders were delivered promptly.

Whenever I crave for pasta, this is one of my go-to places. Love their carbonara and jambalaya. Not so in to their desserts as most are too sweet but if you have a sweet tooth, you’ll probably love those.Their place is so cozy and relaxing. I see a lot of people dining here with their laptops, probably working.Staff are attentive and friendly too.

Unexpectedly found an impressive pizza in this cafe! 🍕☕️ #foodisbae---•Bae of Nae? BAE! 🍎🍎🍎.5•4Ps (Pagkain, Presyo, Place and People)The pizza really surprised me. It's a coffee shop so I wasn't expecting a lot from their food. I like how the crust's thickness is just right. Also, true to its name, it is a meat feast! There's generous amount of sausage on top, and hiding under the cheese are tons of slightly sweet ground meat! To me, the blend of flavors in this pizza is close to perfect! 👌🏼 The pasta is also good, but nothing special to note. The drink isn't exceptional as well. I'd still prefer sb or cbtl for this price range. Similarly, altough the cheesecake looks delicious, it did not impress me coz it doesn't taste like a cheescake (not sure how to accurately describe it, but to me it's too thick/starchy) 😔. On price, given the amount of serving, it's fairly affordable.Chicken Crema Al Pesto 189Meast Feast Pizza 349Cookies & Cream Frappe Grande 175Oreo Cheesecake 160Lastly, I commend them on place and people. The branch in FT is relatively small, but it still achieved a classy vibe. Moreover, their staff are very accomodating, and they're always smiling (which for me is impt 😊). It took them less than 10 mins. to serve the first dish (pasta).

This is my go to place after workout at Golds Gym because they serve delicious vegetable salads. Outlets for charging and free wifi is available. Chairs are also comfortable.Place is small with awesome interiors. Ambience was good, relaxing, and quiet. I think only few people happens to know this place because its not always crowded. Aside from coffee, they serve pizza, cakes and rice meals. They have huge serving of pasta! I love their pesto pasta with lots of chicken cubes, the taste did not disappoint me. The blueberry cheesecake is good for sharing, it may not be the best blueberry cheesecake but for the price its ok, its not too sweet, I considered it worth it for the price. When it comes to coffee , nothing special to their cafe latte.Prices are reasonable. Mostly students are staying here because food is really affordable. I love the staffs here. They are very attentive, warm and accomodating. I even requested to re heat my coffee and to look over my laptop for awhile as I go to the restroom.I just hope they would have their own restroom.

We have been passing IL Padrino on the way to and from FEU hospital for some time now, so when we saw it had a branch in Fairview Terraces, we finally gave it a try. Before trying it, we checked out some reviews. A lot of people are raving about the pasta so we ordered the chicken pesto and carbonara.Food: 2.0My husband and I were very hungry when we got here, so we were expecting to think the food is great. Food is supposed to taste better when you're hungry, right? Unfortunately that was not the case. The carbonara was bland and watery. It was like eating pasta with cornstarch and water. The chicken pesto that came highly recommended by other reviews, was just as bland. The pasta was overcooked and the chicken was dry. The chicken was so dry I left most of it on the plate. For thise who disagree, please go to Casa Renato along Dahlia, so you will know what chicken, pesto, and pasta should taste like.Ambience: 2.0I don't have high expectations for ambience. I just want clean, uncluttered spaces. IL Padrino's spot in Fairview Terraces is poor to begin with, so I can't really blame them if it's cramped. My main beef is that they chose to put cushions on their seats but neglected to properly maintain them. Several seats had disgusting stains that looked like mold. That can only come from long term neglect which shows how low their standards are for cleanliness.Service: 4.0I can't deny that the entire staff was helpful and attentive. It was the only positive thing that came out of the experience. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
