I frequent their Fairview branch and liked it because it's something that I can go to that's not inside a mall! Now that they've opened one, I can't help but compare them. Since I've already made a review for the Mt Sinai branch, here are some points from my observation on their newly opened branch:- brick walls and floors with ceiling-to-floor posters that makes you feel like you're eating al fresco in Italy (yes, Eat Pray Love movie). It was kind of totally different ambience from their Mt Sinai branch but the latter is more homey for me;- equally great food;- friendly & prompt staff. During our visit, it was only Grace that was on-duty but she managed to get the customers request promptly; The Main EventChicken Crema Al PestoPasta CarbonaraMargherita Pasta with Herbed FishItalian White PizzaGrilled Lemon Chicken SaladOrange JuiceItalian Soda (Peach)I like their vinaigrette on the salad, it tasted really refreshing. The vegies were fresh and the chicken was grilled perfectly. The pasta dishes were average, although the Carbonara was remarkable. It was creamy and deliciously good. You can easily know the difference between a ready-made pesto and one from fresh herbs. We were kinda disappointed because what they've was a ready-made one. The margherita pasta wasn't my preference and it surprisingly good - white sauce with grilled tomatoes and herbed cream dory on top. If you don't feel like eating a creamy pasta, try this one out. Next was the pizza. They were kind enough to provide us parmesan cheese (you know how my S/O loves cheese). It was a 10in thin-crust pizza baked just right, they don't scrimp on the toppings with generous serving of cheese. I suggest, eat it while it's warm because the dough tasted like Sky Flakes when cold. I was nursing a sore throat that night and I don't want too much sweets, the staff was kind enough to accommodate my request - OJ with 50% sugar level. The place is ideal when catching up with friends and great with family bondings, too.Time of visit: 27 Feb 2015 20:30

Pastas are really my passion when it comes to food so i really like eating different tastes of pasta. When i ate here they said that their serving of pastas are good enough for two, well, may i say, as someone whos not really a big-eater, their serving are really only for one. But the taste didnt dissapont me. I love their aglio olio, the taste of sourness and salty at the same time really made me enjoyed it.

I have introduced my 11-year-old daughter to pasta and cheesecakes of Il Padrino in their Galleria and Mt. Sinai branches. She came to love their strawberry cheesecake and blueberry cheesecake. I agree with her: both cheesecake varieties are really gooood. When we were in Fairview Terraces for the first time today, she asked to have a snack. Having heard an Il Padrino branch is around, I brought up the idea of having cheesecake again. Good thing she agreed. We got to have bites of the yummmmy blueberry cheesecake again. It was a delight!I even got a takeout of the cheesecake to present to a friend.

I love this restaurant and coffee shop. First, it’s very quiet and I like it that way. Coffee shops in Metro Manila are mostly busy these days, so it’s nice to stay in one place where I can just eat good food, enjoy my coffee and read a book. . Today though I came here to get a chocolate cake to celebrate my first year anniversary with my girlfriend. You can get a cake like this for 200 pesos and it can feed up to four people.

I love their clandestine site somewhere inside Terraces. It makes the sound inside the mall inaccessible to the resto. Ambience is comfy. Plugs are everywhere, I can work yeah! Food choices are vast; meal to pasta or iced coffee, they have it. They have Wi-Fi. And most of all, not expensive. I actually recommend this place to friends who want comfy and wifi with pasta menu.
