We decided to try this place out for dessert because I saw the high ratings here in website. I love the interior and even the exterior of the cafe because it looked like I was taken back to Japan to have some shaved ice. This place is famous for their kakigori (or bingsu, in korean). I love their selection as someone who adores matcha, and houjicha flavors ~ anything with tea.We ordered the matcha kakigori and strawberry kakigori, and two brewed coffees. I love their matcha shaved ice, the red beans, shiratama, and green tea ice cream have the perfect sweetness to complement the shaved ice. It's not too sweet, or too bitter (as matcha tend to be). The strawberry one is okay to me. It's good, but I can probably get this in any bingsu place. The coffee is meh. Just your standard brewed coffee. I am highly impressed with their tea selection, and would love to come back for their homemade tea ice cream flavors. However, I was extremely disappointed by their service, above anything else. Almost every item in the menu is unavailable when we went. It doesn't make sense to put them there then... There were no shakes, no tea drinks aside from sencha, and they have no ice! Leaving my dad and brother with no choice, they decided to order the standard coffee instead. My brother asked if he could order brewed coffee and have ice with it, and the lady said he can't. I'm not sure why since shaved ice is made of ice, right? I don't understand how she can say they can't put ice on his coffee? Plus, she didn't inform us that we could actually stay on the other Japanese restaurant beside us, from the same owner, until we paid. When we were in the other place, we saw they serve coffee drinks, so she could've informed us that the other place has other selection.Still, will be rating this a 4 because apart from the service, the shaved ice is good.Actual rating: 3.5 - rounded up

This place is right beside Wabi-Sabi and I think they also own it but i'm not sure though.Always wanted to try their Kakigori but every time we finish dining, they're closed already. This one time we were so full but had a chance to go in, we just shared a bowl.Mango Okinawa Kakigori(P270 for sharing)-I'm not sure how to differentiate Korean Bingsu from Japanese Kakigori but they are both shaved ice desserts and seem like the same ice quality.Serving size was good to share 2-3persons, sweet mangoes around but I would've wanted another layer of mangoes. Milk was delicious and mango ice cream on top. 🍧The menu has a few selection of simple flavors, next time i'd try their yogurt variant and Japanese cheesecake shake seems tempting. 👅

I make sure I go to this place whenever I find myself in Timog. This is one of my favorite matcha dessert. Their Matcha Kakigori is so delicious! They provide a big serving of their shaved ices, enough for 2 persons but I can finish one bowl. The combination of milk ice, matcha syrup, adzuki, shiratama and matcha ice cream is just perfect. Shaved ice on the bottom, drizzled with green tea syrup with red bean and mochi is a heaven for matcha lovers like me. Flavors just blend wonderfully as the ice melts. Eating this brings immediate refreshment and cools me down. They also have options for those who want vegan ice cream. This cafe allows your order at wabi sabi to be delivered here as long as you'll have dessert here. After eating vegetarian dishes, you can now indulge in vegan desserts.

For such a small, quaint dessert place, this cafe really gives you a 5 star food experience. I have always been a fan of shaved ice desserts, but this tops them all. I tried the Mango Okinawa, and my friend had the Ube (her favorite). The Mango Okinawa was one of the best shaved ice dessert I had. Fresh mangoes never disappoint, but pairing it with milk ice and condensed milk made it even better. The Ube was great, especially with the shiratama and macapuno. Even though it was raining when we had this, it was worth the additional cold. Will definitely go back here and try more flavors.

After a dinner at Wabi Sabi, there is a near dessert place with kakigori. I was curious what is a kakigori because it is similar to a Bing Su of Korea. So we tried the best seller Matcha Kakigori (price at 270) good for 2 to 3 person. It was really a complete dessert with red beans, matcha ice cream, shaved ice with milk and matcha mochi. Add it with matcha syrup with intense matcha flavor. We almost didn't finish the dessert because it is really huge. It is really delicious and balanced flavor. I will go back again to try other flavor. A highly recommended dessert if ypu are fun of Bing su and Halo halo.

REALLY, REALLY GOOD KAKIGOORI. ENOUGH TO WARRANT ALL CAPS AND EXPLETIVES. Went here after lunch at Wabi-Sabi and ordered their Kuromitsu (Brown Sugar or Molasses) and Kuro Goma (Black Sesame) Kakigoori, both Solo sizes which were still good for sharing! Servings were generous with the ingredients! Super sulit!A quick correction with the Japanese on their menu though! Yung spelling ng "Shake" nila in Katakana is wrong. It should be 「シェーク」 and definitely NOT 「ェーク」.

Super love this place! Their small portion is already good for 2 people.I think this is the only cafe that serves black sesame kakigori. The only downside is the place is too small, and they close early.

I noticed that the staff was not in the mood from her face. Moreover, she served a glass of water to other customers except my table, I was sure she did not forget because when I complaint with my friend loudly, she did not take any action. However, the dessert was good

The best shaved ice/ bingsu shop I have ever been to (definitely beats Hobing in every aspect). The place is very small though, so there is a risk that you would need to sit outside (without aircon)Food: 5/5 the shaved ice is creamy and made out of frozen milkAmbiance: 4/5 actually quite cozy but the place is just too smallService: 5/5 since the place is small, the servers are nearby and can assist you fastPrice: 5/5 Not overpriced, definitely worth every peso!

We had the ube variant. The large size was definitely good for 3 or even more. Value for money 👌My comparison would be hobing hobing and my husband and I preferred the latter. Would go back to try the other flavors.
