Icebergs remain to be one of the best when it comes to ice cream specialties and other cold desserts. They also serve a variety of filling rice meals, sandwiches, pasta, and crepe. My companion ordered for Mais con Hielo with a scoop of ice cream. I ordered my ultimate favorite Strawberry Mango con Hielo. I love the combination of ripe and fresh strawberris and mangoes, sweet with a bit of zest from the strawberries, on finely shaved iced. They taste very well with an ounce of milk. Very refreshing, a superb comfort food! This is what i usually order in Icebergs branches all over the metro. It's my first time to try robinsons galleria branch and was quite pleased with the interiors of the place. However, the supposed chilled strawberries were frozen and hard as rock. I tried biting 3 pieces but they're just impossible to chew (Its like munching on ice cubes, only the strawberries wont crack or melt!). Told the staff about it but they insisted the fresh strawberries were just chilled as usual practice. Its hard to argue when you are in the middle of satisfying your comfort fooding so I just continued eating the mangoes on ice and cream. Several minutes after downing the bowlful, the strawberries remained frozen and I was not able to eat any of them at all. I am sure this is not how other Icebergs branches serve theirs. :(

I used to love their buffalo wings until they changed its ingredients. Their juicy, sweet and sour buffalo wings then turned into what seemed like dry, regular fried chicken :(

This place is heaven for me. As somebody who loves to eat ice cream day in day out, this is THE place for me. I love their Godzilla Slammer! I am not ashamed to admit I finished one off on my own! I also love their Icebergs drizzle. I love their tropical ingredients. Every now and then I also eat their Ribeye Tapsilog with yellow corn rice which I find very delicious.

Came to Icebergs to have some dessert after dinner from another resto. My companion tried the halohalo, which was okay. I tried the blueberry crepe but didn't like it. The taste of the blueberry was not something I expected...it tasted too "preserved". Am I just having wrong the expectation level...that there really is no "unpreserved" blueberry in the Pinas? Will try to come here again to try their other offerings so I can be fair to this joint.

We Ordered:Palabok Special= 188 *The name says it all, a simple filipino favorite merienda made in a special way. Rice noodles is thick and firm. The toppings really elevates the taste, specially the rich flavor of the sauce. 👍Beef Tenderloin w/ Mushroom = 288 *This meal has a generous amount of beef tenderloin that is very tender and juicy. It is serve with crunchy veggies to make it a little bit healthy. Taste is simple yet savory, its not the typical salty sauteed beef. 👍Rib Eye Tapsilog = 238 *It's catchy name made me order this. The beef is very tender and juicy. Atchara that is included in this meal is crunchy and fresh. I upgraded my rice into green spinach rice but the spinach taste is very intense and overpowering.

After Playlist KTV, there were still five of us left and opted for dessert while we catch up with each other's lives. I guess it's something to be expected since we haven't had the time to meet in six years. Icebergs was the nearest place. We ordered oreo milkshake, mango shake, caramel flan con hielo and boracay split. I got the mango shake. Loved that it was milky and the mango taste was really eminent. The shaved ice was fine enough to not clog my straw so I'm happy with that.I also got to try the caramel flan con hielo which includes leche flan, macapuno balls, sweeetened saba, mangoes and a scoop of strawberry ice cream! I liked the idea as I'm not a fan of all the ingredients in halo-halo. We probably stayed for more than an hour before calling it a night.

Icebergs fulfills my craving for ice cream and justify eating it by having fruits on it. What's even better is their pricing. It's affordable for the amount they serve. But then, they're not all about that. I also love their healthy picks for their rice meals. Case in point is their Chicken Barbecue which I pair either their Mountain Brown Rice or Spinach. I swear I've ordered that at least 4 times. Go and indulge in their extended menu which also has sandwich and pastas. Kudos to friends who run this awesome franchise.

Good sisig, that's all I can say. They have the best sisig by far (please recommend other sisig place if you know any :)) Their special halo-halo is a personal fave, too. Oh, and their saba con yelo is also yummmmy!
