Really HUGE serving for php 125. It looked and smelled really good, and just wow at the start...and then it became a bit boring. Hot-star chicken is basically a schnitzel with a glaze or powder sprinkle. The flour batter was a bit too thick for my taste and the gravy tasted burnt. Worth a try and it's really affordable.

Overwhelming. Juicy chicken. Big for one. :) taste is so good, will try the bbq next time.. best when eaten hot and with two extra white rice.

I was pleasantly surprised with Hot Star. When they say large chicken, they really mean it. I tried the BBQ flavored one and it had just the right amount of sauce. The meat was very soft and quite juicy. You could share the chicken with someone and just order 2 cups of rice.

The chicken is amazingly good, juicy, and the skin is so tasty. The ambiance is great and the staff are so warmed when welcoming. You could really enjoy this place with your barkadas.

Felt like a giant chicken invasion! No kidding. Chicken was huge. We ordered the crispy chicken meal, barbeque chicken meal, and chicken pops. Yep! We ate all cuts of chicken with all sorts of sauce in it. The crispy chicken was, well, crispy (no false marketing) and tasty. You don't need any sauce for it. The chicken occupied 2/3 of my plate and, honestly, I didn't know how I was supposed to finish it. Good thing I was really hungry. Chicken was also tender (not hard as a rock since it was deep fried). The barbeque chicken was also fried but topped with barbeque sauce. That was the only difference. Chicken pops were just teenie tiny versions of the huge chicken. Overall experience was good. If you are looking for fried chicken, this is the place to be. Pick this over the regular fast food joints and you'll not regret it.
