Well I saw this in website and thought why not. Dispite I read chicken was flavorless (Actually not quite-liked the flavor) decided to give a try. First let me start by the fact a filet should not have bones. Second- sauces should be able to be given on the side for sake of customer service. It will help you a lot due to the fact your options are limited. The gravy oh my... You should try to change it. Not quite a pleasant taste. The chicken was oily and the breading wasn't quite well cooked. Overall the place has potential but far from it. Have to go with one start. Hope you can understand how great it can be before it's too late .

Hot Star has been in the Philippine market for years now and is well known for their large fried chicken. I'm hearing a lot of reviews about them and I was happy to finally got to try Hot Star myself. You can choose from Superstar, Original, and Crispy. They also have Salt and Pepper, Chili Pepper, Barbecue Sauce, Sweet and Sour, and Red Chili for the sauces.I chose Original Salt and Pepper Large chicken and the taste is actually good. What I regret was going for Large because I was told that the chicken has bones. I think Junior would've worked for me and I could've enjoyed my meal more. The balance of salt and pepper is fit for the breading but it easily made me fed up.For takeout, I ordered Original Salt and Pepper Junior Fish. The packaging is neat and it comes with a sweet and spicy dip. I didn't like the taste at all. A fish tastes naturally bland and going for Hot Star's version of Salt and Pepper Fish wasn't a good idea. It made the fish unbearable to eat for me.Their area is large and the second floor has more tables. There's a separate room for events and bookings. Their sound system was so loud and the customers can barely hear each other. The staff weren't so friendly and didn't show some enthusiasm.

Na kwento na sa akin ng kapatid ko to nung nsa Dubai pa ako. Malaki daw ung portion ng chicken. Sulit yung price sa laki ng chicken. Pwede ng pang dalawang tao.

I just got the junior size for a snack. It was juicy and crunchy in the outside. But it was not as flat as it should be like in Taiwan. It looked more like chicken fingers to me.

Me and my Mahal were here yesterday. The first time i tried hot star was 2 years ago. Chicken still taste the same and still big! I love it! My Mahal has braces so he wasnt able to really enjoy the chicken hehe But yeah for me i love it. Was not able to take pictures though because we were in a hurry.

Not happy. Bit overhyped. I expected more flavor. It was too salty. Felt like I was eating salty fried cardboard instead of chicken. Someone said the fish is better, but I don't think I'll be going back.

Location is accessible. Staffs are accommodating and friendly. Budget-friendly. It's a chill place to spent with your family and friends. A must try!

Still amazed on this chicken. It's yummy and I can't really argue on the price. This is a nice take on fried chicken 😅👅 Just sad delivery is good only for bulk orders.

It's not my first time to try this restaurant, the chicken is still good, I ordered it in Chili and in original. The service was just okay, nothing special and the ambiance was very colorful and stuff. Well all hot star are like that 😂

the overall place, food and staff is very nice but the upper floor is quite hot, I think they didn't turn on the airconditioner in that time.
