I like that the place isn’t so huge. It’s very quaint, perfect for meetings, dates and catch-up sessions. Their salad servings are huge, good enough for two (I'd say) but if you’re a vegetable monster like me, I’m sure you can consume the entire plate by yourself. We ordered the Superfood Salad (which has kale, mixed greens, quinoa, beets, carrots, malunggay flakes and a vinaigrette dressing), the Hillside Greens Smoothie (which has spinach, moringa, mango, banana, chia seeds, coconut meat and coconut water), the Beancurd Chicharon (which does not disappoint! The vinegar was sooo good!), Aglio Olio Pasta (creamy, tasty and chewy) and the Tropical Smoothie (which has papaya, mango, pineapple and coco water).

Ordered brown rice, matcha latte, cocofudge smoothie, vegan choco cake, and a toffee cake (?). Food panda delivery.Cakes were amazing!! I love dense cakes and these were super dense and tasty. Moist and heavy. 100/100.Cocofudge is ok. Banana and choco and coconut? 3.5/5Brown rice (haha i had left over ulam) was great. Rice is always great.Matcha was bitter af but I like it or I don't know if I just feel pressures to like it haha. The sweetness is definitely from muscovado or cocosugar.

BEET DETOX JUICE BY HILLSIDE CAFE AND JUICE BAR §§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§ Anyone would want a healthy lifestyle amidst the busy and bustling life of the city. Plus, it is hard to avail fresh, organic, and unadulterated food items here in the metropolis when all you see around are processsed and preserved goods. Luckily, at the heart of the city, a cafe and juice bar serves detox juices and nutritious treats for everyone to enjoy. Their space is so beautiful with all the green garden plants outside. It is important for everyone to reward themselves with good things that are definitely good for the body and soul. I highly recommend you to visit HILLSIDE Cafe and Juice Bar. Spend some time in there cafe and feel good about yourself once you consume their detox juices that are affordable and delicious. 😋

Juice is in a spanish sardines bottle for 195 pesos (ordered via food panda) and the seafood aglio olio pasta tastes like pancit canton. Definitely not worth it.

One of our to-go healthy lunch place. I love their pasta selection. I’ve tried around 3 pastas from them and they never failed me. Although there are days that my favorite squid ink pasta isn’t available.

Great ambience, but the food was quite disappointing:1. Oat-Crusted Smoked Labahita: The smoked halibut was overly greasy and lacked flavor. Also, the fish had a very off-putting texture - probably not fresh? The pasta was fine, nothing to write home about.2. Hummus: The hummus tasted alright, but it was almost laughably dry. As in, crumbling-desert level dry. Olive oil is a thing? They also didn't have any roasted vegetables chips so they gave us bread instead - which we didn't mind because the bread was pretty good.3. Tofu Teriyaki with Cauliflower Rice: The tofu teriyaki sauce was way too salty, but we loved the cauliflower scramble. Would order this again just for the cauliflower.4. Hillside Greens: The salad was okay, nothing much to screw up here.Service was alright, but the waiter kept leaving the table before we were done with our order. And we were the only guests there at the time. Like chill siz?Overall, we didn't feel like we got our money's worth - which is sad because the place is really quite charming.

Hooray to more restaurants offering healthier options. As you know most of the food establishments around fight out on serving the most sinful dishes, which is a big component of a typical Filipino diet. Hillside Cafe & Juice Bar is thriving with not just more nutritious selections, they also take pride in innovating meals. I had their Housemade Lentil Malunggay Hummus for a starter since their Avocado Toast was not available. This was an interesting alternative, garlicky and less creamy from the usual kind. For mains, I had the Tofu Teriyaki, a hearty plate for just Php 215. The ginger rice was amazing good, so was the fried tofu, just a little too salty. On my next trip here am looking forward to having their vitamin-rich smoothies!

I went to an art workshop here hosted by the owner. She regularly teaches watercolor classes to all levels. I've been to four of them, but the one I attended yesterday was the most enjoyable so far.We were served some excellent food.1. Pitas and dip- pita crackers, cashew cheese and tapenade. Cashew cheese FTW. Tapenade slightly salty, but I like my food on the salty side.2. Superfood Salad-mixed greens, beets, quinoa, vinaigrette with balsamic vinegar- for something so healthy, I actually enjoyed this dish. So much kale and malunggay flakes!3. Bean curd chicharon with roasted potato and globe eggplant- this was served with a side salad, the chicharon was amazing. It tasted just like the real thing.4. Seafood aglio olio- one of my faves from yesterday. It had squid, shrimp, and clams. Pasta was al dente and went well with the garlic-infused oil that was used.5. Oat and rye crusted smoked Labahita- crunchy and has an interesting texture. However, as I like my food on the savory side, I missed the umami flavor.6. Organic roasted chicken- served with sweet potato mash that tastes like cheese! Also has a side of roasted veggies. The chicken skin was crispy as if it had been fried but the meat was still tender.7. Beet and mango smoothie- the beet flavor was a little overwhelming and the taste of the banana overpowered the mango. Disclaimer: not a big fan of bananas. The loo was clean, well maintained and stocked. There were some other organic products for sale and it's right next to a garden supply store!Definitely going back for more food and art.For those interested in the art lessons, please visit @lifeafterbreakfast on Instagram!

Hillside Cafe and Juice Bar offer a great selection of healthy eats! I loved their zucchini pasta with crusted chicken. Even the refreshments are good. I got the calamansi and ginger juice. I recommend this place if you want to work while eating good food. Its environment is relaxing and you can really focus on what you're doing.

The place is quite small but has a nice ambiance. We had a quick dinner, ordered their aglio olio seafood pasta and the beef soft taco. I supeeeeer loved their seafood pasta. Noodles were al dente. Very tasty! Aglio olio pastas can be tricky. Some can be bland, others too salty. This was really good 👌👌👌 The beef soft taco was just okay. Will come back to try the rest as my first visit was promising ❤
