They serve good food and good coffee for an affordable price! If you’re looking for a place to study, they have a lot of outlets and comfy chairs. Downside here is that they only turn on one aircon unit so it could get quite hot. I’ve been here a couple of times btw (I’d say around 5-6 times already), I usually stay here when I know I’ll stay in a cafe to study for a few hours

Okay. This review is a product of two visits I made to Hillcrest Cafe. My first was before the cafe underwent a renovation and the other, after the facelift. I could say that Hillcrest looks better now, "feels" better now. The airconditioning was a bit cooler now and the lighting, better now. In short, I like the new Hillcrest. I visited with my nephew one afternoon to have something warm and something sweet. Since both of us had our lunches already we settled on a sinfully-looking chocolate cake and hot Moroccan Tea served on a transparent mug. While waiting for the tea to cool down a bit, we started on the cake. Though not the best, it was good nonetheless. It was moist, deliciously bitter and very chocolatey. My tea? I'm not used to taking my tea sweetened but it was and I loved it. I'm planning to do a revisit and try one of their sandwiches. Of course, with Mint Tea steeping in steaming water.

Number of times visited: More than 2XParking: Available but limited. Food: We ordered the Cheesy Chicken sandwich which has a bit too much of bell pepper - this is already coming from a person (me) who loves bell peppers. Also ordered the Hungarian sausage rice meal. Both meals were quite bland. On most days we just drop by here for coffee or tea. Tea served is TWG. Price: Food is quite expensive. Service: Fast Place: Place is quite small but there are a lot of available seats but most of the sofa seats ( which needs some cleaning) are often occupied by people studying/working on their laptops. Repeat: Probably.

Because of our endless errands today, we didn’t have time for some coffee. So around 10pm after the mall closes, I really searched for a coffee shop just within Quezon City. Lucky for me, I saw Laruan Atbp. that’s still open until 12am. Hubby was already tired and wanted to go home but lucky for him (too), he has a wifey who’s so stubborn that really wanted some coffee time. 😂As we are entering Teacher’s Village, we saw this coffee shop: Hillcrest Wellness Cafe, that’s still open so I asked the baristas and found out that they are up until 1am. We decided to stay here instead. The place was packed with visitors that’s why we were forced to stay in a table just under the dripping aircon. Inside the coffee shop, the wall was decorated with bible verses and some books. They have worship songs as their background music. They also sell some stuffs with bible verses and quotes. I ordered hot Mountain Mocha (Php130) in tall size while hubby had his Cappuccino Frappé in tallest size ( Php160). All I can say about the drink I had was: super Sarap! They actually gave me a 2 sachet of brown sugar but I returned it to them because the blend of mocha was just perfect for me. 😍 Their coffee is a cold brew (18-24 hrs brewing), no wonder why it tastes divine! Hubby’s drink was also good. I liked how they put cinnamon on it (my usual frappe drink: always with ground cinnamon). I was surprised when I tasted it and asked the barista for confirmation. Haha! Overall, I enjoyed our stay here minus the dripping aircon of course. We were fortunate, we transferred seat after our drink arrived. Definitely one of the best mocha drink I had so far (after mocha frappuccino of SB ✌️). Hope to come back here soon.
