Hermano's is this popular authentic mexican hole in the wall restaurant inside a petron gas station in Valencia. My sister likes the place and we both love mexican food. However, I think I need to stop ordering burritos from this place. I remember the first time I tried their burrito and the meat was super salty (carne asada). I gave it another try tonight, I ordered takeout fish burrito to eat at home (my sister said fish tacos but I love burritos so why not fish burrito instead). The burrito rice was bland both in color and taste. The burrito didn't even have bean paste! how can a burrito not have bean paste? Maybe that's how authentic burrito is prepared? Or did the kitchen crew mess up?Also, the battered fish meat left me with a feeling of umay (oiliness) because there was no bean paste, garlic sauce, sour cream or even tasty burrito rice to counteract the oiliness. They did prepare the burrito quickly and the cashier was alert and efficient. The place is also well decorated and maintained. This is my second attempt at Hermano's and really I can't understand why my sister likes this place or why the website ratings are high. I think twice is enough and I will not try Hermano's again.

At first glance it looks like a hole in the wall taco shop in LA. Then comes your food. I had Carne Asada tacos. It came with 3 pcs of nacho chips. It was cold and they drizzled it with diluted sour cream. It tasted like a shawarma. Not even a leaf of cilantro in it. What an insult to Mexican food! I should have just made my own at home. What a disappointing lunch.

First time I ate at Hermano's I ordered a California burrito and remember really liking it so it's normally my go to order when I go there but recently I've ordered it a couple times for delivery and discovered that it has suddenly become a fries burrito. Really disappointed with the quality.

Ive been trying to eat at their Branch in Gilmore, living in the south presented obvious commute challenges being that it is very much out of way. Luckily they put up a branch in Alabang which we inmediately paid a visit. We ordered the grilled shrimp quesadilla, the pollo asado burrito and the chili con carne platter. The quesadilla was good, its a complex mix of the herb flavors of cilantro and tomatoes, the saltiness and semi creamy consistency of cheese, grilled shrimp which retained its smoky flavor and sandwiched by pita bread which was both light and smoky. The same applied to the burritos you can taste and distinguish the flavors of the herbs, the pollo asado and the pita bread. The chili con carne was unusually light but was flavorful. The common pitfall of mexican dishes is that the flavors are muddled together that it becomes indistinct from one another. The food in Hermanos avoids that pitfall and comes up with complex tasting and layered mexican dishes.

Love love love the taco salad! Huge serving and loaded with flavor (and calories). Hahaha! Don't come here if you're on a diet, you'll surely eat more than what you think you can. I love that it's tucked away behind a gas station where you can eat in peace. Place is quite small, but just right. Will be back to try other items on the menu.

Ordered the BBQ beef burrito and a horchata, but unfortunately they ran out of the horchata, so had an iced tea instead. Really good burrito. I loved the BBQ beef and the rice combination. I think I'm just biased as I've always loved burritos since my grade school days. Worth another side trip.

Great Mexican food. I love their place, its not so big and its neat and realxing. The food is amazing. I tried their beef quesadilla and i loved it! Their horchata is also deliscious. It was a great dining experience.

We would always drive by Hermano's Taco Shop but we never tried it until today. I had the Carne Asada Burrito, it tasted a bit bland for me but the size is big. We also ordered the Beef Quesadilla, Cheese Quesadilla and the Carne Asada Taco. Portion sizes were filling. The cheese in the quesadilla tasted good. The taco lacked flavor.

I don't understand why their nachos were declared numero uno for 2 consecutive years by spot.ph – serving size was small and there was really nothing spectacular about it. My fish tacos were alright; my son couldn't finish his rice plate (it's unusual for this kid to not finish his food). One visit is enough.

I don't know where to start with this placeLove this place.Interiors are basic and bright.I go here when I crave authentic mexican food.I don't think I've tasted better mexican food in the Philippines. Our staple orders are California burritos since my family misses it. Carne Asada fries with plenty of toppings, beer battered fish Tacos, other burritos, and of course horchata drink which is a rice milk drink
