I didn't know there's already a Hello Kitty Cafe in the Philippines. It is just a pop up cafe though but I decided to give it a try. FOOD: I ordered a cheesecake on the go for it is 30% sale that day without a reason. I think maybe it's because they are so overpriced. My strawberry cheesecake is good. The white chocolate they used is so good but the cheesecake is spongy and weird. I don't know how to describe it but I'm not buying that again. PLACE: It is just small and very open to the people walking out the escalators. But it is pink and very cute. It lacks the sanrio ambiance though.SERVICE: The crews are dressed cute and they're friendly. They'll explained the different desserts and jokes with you.I advised you to go check them out at 8pm because they're dropping their prices before the closing time. :)

I wanted to have a fun time with my 9-yr-old niece so I took her here. The pop-up cafe looked cute, flower-filled, and mostly pink. It was adorable but not for big crowds, obviously. The chairs and tables were tiny and the space was cramped. The food was good. It wasn't outstanding and was a little pricey for the taste. We had their green tea cheesecake and alfredo pasta. The cheesecake, I might come back for but I'm not likely to try anything else.

Hello kitty, kerokeropi! Admit it you sang it in your head,  didn’t you? Right in the childhood! Good news! Themed cafes are becoming a fad in the Philippines and looks like they’re here to stay! That’s super great for us because the Hello Kitty cafe just landed in the Metro and into our hearts.

I was very excited to go to the Hello Kitty Café because I'm a big Hello Kitty fan. While the place was cute, the food was overpriced. The place is still on soft opening, so there’s room for improvement. If you’re looking for some sugar high, you can try their donuts. I personally recommend the Badtz Maru and the Kerokeroppi donuts. The PlaceCuteness overload! People who eat here can't help but take pictures of the place, with the cute donuts and cupcakes. If you're a Hello Kitty fan like me, it's like you're in a mini Hello Kitty heaven. It's baby pink and white all over the place, and upon entering the café I felt like I was attending a cousin's debut. No 18 roses anywhere, though. ;) I think it would have been better if they had placemats on the table. I felt bad for spilling a bit of my coffee on the white tablecloth (the lid of the cup wasn’t too tight ).The FoodI ordered the Chicken Mushroom Fettuccine Alfredo (Php245) and the Chocolate Biscoff Frappe (Php285). The pasta was bland. It was cooked well, had enough chicken and mushrooms, the serving size was good, but it was really bland. I only ate half of it and took the rest home. Cute garlic bread with the Hello Kitty design, though. But the bread was a bit hard and greasy. The frappe was okay. I expected more because it cost more than my pasta. But it was just... okay. I could have gotten a more decent cup in Starbucks for that price.Of course I could not resist getting the Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kerokeroppi and Badtz Maru donuts (Php95 each), so I ordered those to go. We had to try at least 1 cupcake, so I got the green tea cupcake, too. The donuts were tasty, but they were VERY greasy. The cupcake was simply meh. It was also a bit dry.The ServiceThe staff were polite. There were only a few customers when I went there, and it did not take too long for me to get what I ordered.Other Comments* I was kind of confused when the staff greeted me with "Welcome to the Hello Kitty Dessert Bar!" because I thought it was called "The Hello Kitty Café"* I'm not sure if they patented the use of the Hello Kitty and Sanrio logos. The designs and some color motifs are not the same as the ones I see from original Hello Kitty items from Japan* I noticed some people leaving after finding out how much a donut is. One donut here is already 2 JCo. donuts! Some would actually go look and just take pictures but won’t purchase anything.* They should probably indicate in the menu the flavors of their donuts: My Melody - Strawberry, Hello Kitty - White Choco Walnut, Kerokeroppi - Chocolate Almond, Badtz Maru - Chocolate.* They spelled Badtz Maru wrong on their menu (Badz Maru).RecommendationThe place is a bit small, so I suggest you go here in the afternoon on a weekday (like I did). I would have been impressed by the Php95 donuts I bought if ithey weren’t greasy. If you have time to kill on a boring weekday afternoon and money to spend, you can visit this place and enjoy the cuteness that is Hello Kitty! :)SummaryFood: 2.0Place: 3.5Price: 2.0Service: 4.5OVERALL RATING: 2.9

I'm a big fan of Hello Kitty so when I heard about the opening, I asked my parents to go the mall for this. The pop up cafe looks so pink but it lacks more of the Sanrio feel. Tried their doughnuts ( Hello Kitty and Badz Maru). The doughnuts was just okay but a bit pricey. Haven't tried the other desserts but with the doughnuts alone, there wasn't enough WOW factor.

The place is not very ideal for me. When I go to a cafe, the very one thing I have in mind is that I will be able to relax and eat. But, it was not a very relaxing experience here given that the place is too open and can get a bit crowded. I think it would be ideal to place the cafe in a closed area. I went anyway, since I really wanted to experience the Hello Kitty themed cafe. The donut I had was a bit oily but the taste was okay(chocolate donut you would normally get in any cafe). Caramel Macchiato is okay(taste is good), but whipped cream does not blend well. The plastic cup was too fragile to carry, the cap keeps on opening. The donut is too pricy while the price of the drink is just okay. Overall, it was just an okay experience.

Because I love Hello Kitty my cousin and I tried having our dessert at HK Cafe last Saturday. The place was packed and people from all ages were dining when we arrived. Good thing we found a seat near the cashier. We ordered a donut and lychee strawberry shake. It was a bit pricey and too sweet for my taste though I loved the donut with HK's face. It's so cute! I didn't get a chance to try their cakes, maybe next time.

Aside from loving food, I'm a big fan of Hello Kitty so I'll definitely won't miss the chance to try the Hello Kitty Cafe. Around 2014, they also had a pop-up cafe during a toy fair. It looks exactly like the one now at SM The Block - they also serve the same donuts but the food back then (they have different menu) wasn't impressive. I went at the cafe during opening hours because I was expecting that lots of people will go there by lunch.I didn't have breakfast so I had my brunch there. I got the Chicken Mushroom Fettuccine Alfredo and Hello Kitty and Kerokerokeroppi donuts. I wasn't really expecting anything but I actually liked the pasta. It looks dry but the sauce was really just enough for it. I didn't find it 'nakakaumay'. And it has ample amount of chicken and mushrooms.  The donuts were just too cute to eat - I feel guilty while eating them. The Hello Kitty donut has white chocolate filling while Kerokerokeroppi donut has chocolate filling. Between the two, I liked the one with chocolate. But the donuts were quite heavy and greasy. And very pricey for 95php per piece. Not much on the ambiance - it's in an open area. It's small and cramped - tables are so close together. I went there during opening hours and they haven't changed the table clothes yet. Most of them were already dirty with spill stains. One of the staff took the initiative to change the dirty ones. I honestly think the white tables without the table clothes are cute enough. As what I've heard, this is just a pop-up cafe but they'll be having a bigger one soon to open at Uptown Place Mall at BGC. Except for the donuts/desserts, I think the food is reasonably priced. It's just that this establishment is targeted for the kids and teenagers (it's even located near a toy store) so some may find their food pricey. For Hello Kitty lovers out there, this cafe is worth a try.

I love sanrio and the idea of putting up a cafe was not so bad at all. Since my boyfriend is a fan of hello kitty... Yes don't be surprised my boyfriend is a certified hello kitty addict 😄 so I'm glad I found out about this and I brought him at the cafe. He likes the place, the staffs are friendly but when we try out the food, It was ok nothing special about the donuts aside from being too sweet and the cheesecake was good and creamy. 😊

I was so looking forward to eating at the Hello Kitty Cafe. Unfortunately, when I found the time to go, I ended up being disappointed. The food was not that great and not worth the price. The coffee was also subpar considering it cost about the same as a Starbucks drink. I ordered 1 of their pasta dishes and a few minutes after it was placed on my table, the servers took it back and said it was meant for another diner. Lucky for them, I had not touched my food yet. l felt they were rude and inefficient.
