Ramen is one of our favorite, we are quite curious to try this ramen house because we wanted to see what the hype is about. FOOD: ⭐️⭐️⭐️We tried their Signature Happiness ramen and Tan Tan mien. The braised pork was overwhelming and the broth is decent enough to compliment the pork. Overall the experience is “so-so”compared to other ramen house.SERVICE: ⭐️Nothing extraordinary and service is slow. AMBIANCE: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The lighting and interior decoration of the place were overall with a warm vibe.

We tried their signature happiness ramen and it was surely happiness in a bowl. Compared to other ramen houses that we tried, it's my first time to try a ramen with a big slice of pork rib topping rather than the normal chashu slices. I love how tender and flavorful the meat was. I'm also not a fan of gyoza but definitely love theirs. It was my first time also to like the taste of gyoza so thumbs up for this. There were no lines when we went also and ambience is good. Will definitely go back.

We were craving for Ramen but opted to try out something new so we skipped our usual go -to ramen houses (Ramen Nagi/ Ippudo) and ended up dining at Hanamaruken. To ensure that we would not miss the best that they could offer, we ordered their bestsellers— (1) Signature Happiness Ramen at Php 445 (half), shoyu tonkatsu broth ramen topped with tender, soft-bone pork rib (2) Spare Rib Ramen (Php 410) , tonkotsu, shoyu, slow-cooked spare ribs (3) gyoza. While both taste passable, I don’t think we’d go back. The broth wasn’t too flavorful, I had to put a lot of condiments to satisfy my tastebuds. Gyoza was bland for my liking too. What stood out for me was their free extra noodles (in case the huge bowl is not sufficient)

The menu features recommendations and clear descriptions, names, and photos of food. Louie ordered Hanamaruken's Signature Happiness Ramen (Half, PhP 445) without batting an eyelash. It's the signature ramen bowl that's said to be a masterpiece created by Founder Takaku Arakawa himself. For sure, it must be something really special. And indeed, it was a comforting dish with hearty ingredients and a rich aroma. We were surprised to learn that the half size is still actually quite large. A sheet of nori on the side has the words "Happiness is coming" written in Japanese. The broth is a mix of shoyu and tonkotsu, delivering both salty and savory flavors with pork undertones.I got Hanamaruken's Tan Tan Mien (PhP 390). Made with a porky, opaque pale broth, their version of tonkotsu came with a sticky-lipped intensity and tiny nubbins of fat and minced pork swimming around on the surface. Sesame paste and curry tasted great, with tolerable heat. No doubt, this is the ultimate meal-in-a-bowl for me and one of the things I'd think of when you say comfort food. For our standalone side dishes, we got a serving each of Tiger Prawn Tempura (PhP 580) and Gyoza (PhP 240). The tempura was tagged with a hefty price, but it was worth it! With a gorgeous crunch, it's one of best tempuras we've had. I fell in love with my first bite. :) The freshness of the prawn was so evident, and we thoroughly enjoyed the flavor and natural sweetness that came from it without being distracted by the crispy tempura skin. The Gyoza was fine as well but not an absolute must-try. The filling was nicely seasoned and tasted better with the dipping sauce.Hanamaruken Ramen is known for serving bowls of soul-satisfying ramen that bring happiness. Prices are not too friendly to the budget, but patrons don't mind. The signature taste, aroma, and flavors of each dish drive people to explore more and more into a heavenly happy ramen world. Bring your family here to experience slurp-worthy ramen, and you can't go wrong. We're also willing to try their rice bowls next time!

Seriously, this Ramen Place is the best in MM! (For me ha, don’t know about you guys lol)I just had lunch here today with my family and we all loved it, most especially my dad haha this is his favorite ramen place!Happiness Ramen 5/5The Meat is realllllyyy tender and juicy!Broth is a bit salty but it’s perfect haha spare my kidneys Lord.Noodles had the perfect bite.I actually forgot about the cute pink fish cakes lolSpareribs Ramen 5/5Savory Salty goodness as well (i still prefer Happiness)Gyoza 5/5The combination of the meat and the dip which my brother called Adobo Sauce haha was perfect.Tempura 3/5Okay, it was also good, but not perfect. I think it was overcooked a bit but the batter compensated for it hehe crunchy naman and the dip is not bland (i hate it when the tempura’s dip is bland)Service was good. Ambiance was also good. A bit pricey but it’s worth it.I Highly recommend this ramen place.

The place feels so Japan. Ambience is awesome. The service is great. The food bowl is sooo huge that will surely make your belly full. They even offer free extra noodles just by saying a specific japanese word which is cool. Though I wasn't able to try because of how big the bowl is that I didn't need to ask for extra noodle. Haha! The ramen is so flavorful. I hope they would add a spicy ramen in their menu next time :)

Rainy days are here again, surely most people will be craving for a hot soup or some comfort food. One way of satisfying your cravings is by having a big bowl of ramen. Hanamaruken Ramen as they say, specializes in meat from Osaka, Japan. They opened their first branch here in the Philippines in Trinoma. The place have a nice and cozy, modern interior that somehow gives you a feel of Japan's ramen houses just as I have seen it on tv.We tried their most popular dish, the Signature Happiness Ramen. It is a shoyu tonkotsu ramen topped with a dark, tender and slow braised soft bone pork rib. They say that the founder, Takaku Arakawa drew the inspiration from his family's expertise in pork to create this dish. It seems like he have succeeded with his creation, because this ramen really deserves its name. The pork is tender and tasty. It is said that they only serve up to 20 bowls a day of this ramen. It also comes in big servings that can be good for two persons. They serve canned sodas here in case you need some refreshments after a hot bowl of ramen.Next time that you crave a hot bowl of ramen, you might want to give Hanamaruken Ramen a try. I'm sure that you won't regret it. It truly is a taste of Japan here in the Philippines. They have tables that can accommodate a group of people. The place is simple and clean. Nothing to distract you from enjoying your nice and hot bowl of ramen.Another thing that I've noticed, is that they only have a few entrees on their menu. You can choose from their 6 kinds of ramen, 5 rice bowls and 4 side dishes.RATINGS: Food: 5/5Cleanliness: 5/5Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Price: 4/5
