We ordered for the Garlic rice & their Specialty Beef Kare-Kare. The Garlic was great. i just didn't liked where they placed the rice. For me, they should've placed it on a bowl or something. For the Kare-Kare, taste was excellent, though what was serve to us was more on tripes & less with the meat. The place was cozy. love it

The food, the songs, the vibe, they all come together. It was a nice experience.PS. The bathroom was clean and the interior was spot on!

Great ambience, and parking was easy, but i find it a little more expensive than i expected. We tried the Kare Kare and the Puto Bumbong and it satisfied the hunger but didn't impress. The coffee was terrible.

It was our first time to eat in this restaurant and we were very hesistant to begin with. We werent sure if the food is good and if the price is going to be worth it. But we are so glad we tried it. The food is great. The crew is very accomodating. They were able to answer all of our questions regarding the food. The kare-kare was definitely good. Living to their name. It catches the right blend of the authentic kare kare of filipinos.

Love their Crispy Pata Kare-kare. The kare-kare sauce was separated from Crispy Pata so it was like we had 2 dishes in one. Crispy pata skin was crispy and tasted traditional and the kare kare was thick  with some pieces of vegetables. The place was indeed homey and we'd like to come again to try their other dishes.

Drop by Hamia to order a Karekare for lunch. The Crispy Pata Kare kare is good and the serving was also generous. Unlike in other resto when you order a karekare most likely it would be less meat more veggies.. Hamia's Karekare comes with I think a full serving of Crispy Pata and the price is not that expensive.. 👌

I made a reservation for 8. We were quickly seated at our table when we arrived. The place has a homey vibe to it with bicycles used as decor. The food was served immediately upon seating. First to come out was Hamia's specialty - the crispy pata karekare. It was deconstructed, so you can enjoy the crispy pata as is, with the soy vinegar sauce, or with the karekare peanut sauce. Next was the Cebu pochero. I love their version with ample bits of meat and veggies. For veggies, I ordered the laing. It was the first to get demolished. Sarap! Then the Pinoy fried chicken for my nephew, who absolutely won't eat anything else. The lengua salpicado and the sisig arrived thereafter. Both were perfectly seasoned. We all got each the sago gulaman for our drink and the 3 adults tried the complimentary brewed coffee to seal the deal. Serving sizes were ample and we still doggie bagged a few items. The karekare was okay. I'll try the beef and pork versions that are not deconstructed. I'll definitely come back to sample the other dishes. Went back on 11/28/2015 for my niece's birthday celebration. We ordered beef karekare this time. It was better than the crispy Pata version. The Cebu pochero was still a hit. The lengua was another favorite. The fried chicken was too salty for me. The grilled squid was okay but had the "malansa" aftertaste. The lechon kawali was nothing extraordinary, just right.
