Late review.Been publishing my draft reviews today, apologies for that. Went out for lunch one time with 2 friends here at Hainanese delights. I believe it was only opened this yr or late last year so I was curious on how the food was.I ordered the Hainanese Delight white chicken which was the bestseller and pork dumplings for sharing. The chicken was very tender and a bit sweet because of the sauce. It tasted similar to peking duck so I really enjoyed the meal. It also came with unlimited rice so I got really full afterwards. The dumplings were just ok for me.What irritated me however was the bad service. It took such a long time to get our food because there was only one waiter and he's serving around 15 tables. Condiments were not refilled and most of the tables are not cleared up immediately; leaving new customers to wait with filthy tables in front of them. There was also a long line on the cashier and most of the staff (I don't know how many because I can't see them) are in the kitchen. I just pitied the server so much because he was slumped.

First time to try hainanese chicken here. The presentation is not attractive compare to other resto that offer same food. When i tried it it was so good i like how the chicken was cooked walang lansa and the taste is intact the extract that comes with it is perfect to pour in the hot rice which is unli. I like the combination of both chicken and rice. For me its at par with other place that offer same with lower price cant wait to go back to try their other dishes.

Very poor service.  I ordered for a fried tofu with mixed vegetables only to find out that the tofu is missing.  the cashier or server did not even bother to check at the counter if the order was right.  It was handed to me wrapped already trusting that the order was correct.  I will not recommend this restaurant.

PROS - The food is affordable. YES. And not only that, they offer unlimited rice to all of their meals. The food is of quality, I can say. However, let's go to the...CONS - The staff aren't attentive. Everyone actually. From the cashier to the servers. Also, they are frowning when they ask you of what you need, yes probably they are tired. I understand that. Also, the ambiance is not really good.

I have never tried any Singaporean food house before so I'm a bit uncomfortable when I visited with my girlfriend. She told me to try Hainanese chicken. To my surprise, it was really good! I love it! Especially the ginger sauce and the best part was the unlimited chicken rice. LolI went back with my parents after 3 days so they could try too. Love the drinks! And Buchi, which is one of my favorite desserts, just wow!If you're on a tight budget but wanna go for good eats around Eastwood city, this is one of the best restos to try.

Ate here years ago and it wasn’t a great experience. Surprisingly, the place looked lively this time with the staff minding the tables and the customers. We went to the counter and ordered the following –> Hainanese Delight – bestselling white chicken for 139PhpHainanese Chicken is hubby’s thing. He likes it so much! So it was obvious that he will be ordering this. It was paired with a cup of Hainan Rice but the good thing about this place was their unli rice! Hubby abused, ehem ehem, this and asked for double scoop at a time. Since the scooper was small, two scoops would equal to a cup. The size of the chicken was decent. I also got this for myself. It was served with the usual Hainanese Chicken condiments – the thick and sweet soy sauce, ginger and chili. Personally, I like my Hainanese Chicken smothered with lots of these three! Makes the chicken taste so much better! The Hainanese Chicken here was tender and tasty, just like how it’s supposed to be. For 139Php, not bad at all.Cherienne wanted some noodles that day so I opted to get her their Tender Beef Brisket. For 120Php, that was a lot! The beef chunks were tender and flavorful, the noodles was so-so instant but the soup was good.We also got an order of their Crunchy Radish Cake for 90Php and again, there was a lot! It was actually good for sharing for about 3 people. I have never tried radish cake before so I was curious. Good thing I gave it a go coz these little cubes were crunchy and tasty! I don’t know how radish tastes like lol but these deep fried babies were good munchies. We also tried the Milo Godzilla for 85Php and Sparkling Berries drink for 75Php. Both were okay but it took them a really long time before they served our drinks and I almost cancelled the Sparkling Berries coz I was almost done. Some room for improvement with customer service I guess but overall, sulit lunch for us!

*Been here several timesService - 3Only the actual server is courteous. He greets you when you enter and asks everyone if you would care for another scoop of their Hainan rice. Place - 3Typical restaurant, not a lot of decor. Well lighted interior.Food - 4They have big platter options or if you prefer a smaller portion of their rice meals which they serve in the afternoon; both with iced tea and unlimited scoop of their Hainan Rice. Their Hainanese chicken is their best seller. What stands out among the food that I've tried in here is their steamed Pure Pork (pork dumplings). The pork is really tender. You can't taste starch like other restaurants would make their dumplings. Price - 3.5Affordable I would say since they have set lunches that ranges from Php90 - Php250. Ala carte meals tend to be pricey.

Hainanese delight, one of most affordable and convinient around this area.once of the best seller is value meal and they offer it in 3 choices, hai anise chicken, fish fillet and pork something, they serve unlimited Hainan rice with clear soup ice tea and your choice of fish chicken or rice. 99 php is indeed a very good deal. They do hve other options in the menu like dumplings, tofu veggies and other dishes however I do enjoy the hainanese chicken the most. It'san average resturant, just chairs and tables. There is one particular server who always welcomes all the guests.

This is a unique find in Eastwood. Not really familiar with this restaurant but I'm a fan of Hainanese chicken. My wife and I decided to give it a try since we are hungry and looking for a quick grub. The restaurant is not packed and we got seated in no time. Also, we didn't know that it's a self-serve restaurant and had to order on the counter. Since I didn't know what to order aside from the Hainanese chicken, it took us a while to decide which to eat lol.Good thing the server recommended us their meal bundles that includes 2 half/half viand, veg and dessert. You can ask for a soup refill as it is bottomless and their Hainanese rice is UNLIMITED AS WELL! Cheers to that!I've decided to order the Hainanese chicken and porkchops, the veggies are just a mix sauteed veggies, dessert is Buchi. My wife ordered the Hainanese chicken and pork passionate.Their rice is very delicate and the more you eat, the more you will crave and you will not noticed that you've downed couple of rice bowls. Pro Tip: Eat as many rice as you can, savor every refill! The soup is meh and tasted crap (like a hint of dishwashing soup). It's refillable but not worth it.The Hainanese chicken is exceptional. It's tender and tasty inside and outside. The porkchop is okay, nothing to exciting about it but the pork passionate is top notch! One of the most bitin but delicious Buchi I've ever had, better than Chowking (or on par) but it's worth taking out!Upon writing this review, we've been here couple of times and I even brought my family here because, why not. Loved every visit. I just hope they improved their soup and their service because the first time we were here, they did not serve us soup (though not worthy, at least they need to stay consistent). Also, I saw some service crews, eating some snack in the front/counter. They should go at least in the kitchen if they are hungry though.Let's rate them shall we?Food: 4.5/5Ambiance: 4/5Service: 2.5/5Value for money: 4.5/5
