5 stars. The prime rib here is what I’ve been searching for. This place is old school, and has been around for a long time. Got the gulliver’s cut. Great taste and good fat content, with that quality prime rib taste that needs to be in there. A lot of places lack that or cover up with knorr. Tender meat and cooked to your chosen level of doneness. The end cut is also available if you prefer the roast spice taste to be stronger in your order. Served with Yorkshire pudding bread, spinach, potato, creamed corn. Don’t expect much from the Yorkshire pudding bread, was dry and not well made. But I didn’t come for that so it didn’t matter to me. The spinach was good as were the potato and corn. That was more than enough as a side. Caesar salad was excellent. Will definitely be back often.

Actual rating: 4.5It saddens me that this place is almost never frequented by steak lovers. When we went to dine in this place which I believe can handle around 150 guests at the same time, we were only 4 guests inside. It was a weeknight. Sad. This was introduced to me by my brother who also loved their dishes. Give this place a chance. Promise, it won't disappoint you.The dining experience started with a complimentary bread and butter from the restaurant. The bread was served hot; you'd know it's freshly baked/toasted at least. It was also very crispy on the edges and soft and tender on the inside. The butter was unsalted, nothing special but best with the bread when you add some salt on it. Haha! Anyway...We had their appetizer sampler, comprised of a cubed duck meat, calamari, panko-breaded prawns, and seafood cream-cheese wanton. All of them were cooked to perfection, crispy if warranted, and what not. Breading of the calamari and prawns weren’t too thick, just the right amount. The duck was delicious, having that salty and savory taste complimented well with the sweet plum glaze. The prawns were cooked to be creamy, it was good. Cream-cheese wanton was served crispy and hot. It wasn’t too cheesy either. Yummy! We had the Gulliver’s Cut for our main course; it came with gravy, creamy corn (ala tapioca), baked potato, creamed spinach, and puff pastry bread. The gravy lacked some flavor, it was a bit bland. However, this was definitely offset by the extremely flavorful and beefy au just that came with the perfectly cooked medium-well beef. The meat marbling was also great that it had some fats in it, without being fatty per se. The fatty ends were charred to crisp, concentrating the flavor on them, which was explosive. The beef lacked some salt and pepper to bring out its flavor, but it was still great nonetheless. I put premium on how it was cooked so well, with that pinkish middle layer. Damn! The creamed spinach was also yummy, giving this healthy yet slightly cheesy break from devouring my steak. The baked potato was nothing extraordinary, well, I’m not really a fan. The pastry was also good, it wasn’t too think nor thick. Just the right texture and weight. The creamy corn was essentially tapioca, so you can have it last as dessert.Service was great also. Will definitely come back.

Had the prime rib, lobster tail, fisherman's spaghetti, and a tiramisu. The food was excellent. We had the steak seared well done to my mother-in-law's liking. The beef was tender, and you can ask for jus if you'd want (we had it and it was great. Especially for dipping the bread in.) The lobster was good, but a bit small for the price. I think the other seafood choices may be better value. Spaghetti was really good too.The complimentary sourdough bread was crusty on the outside but soft and chewy inside. Perfect to start off the meal.Steak servings were generous, and can be split between two guys.Service was attentive and quick. We enjoyed ourselves a lot here.

Sure they’ve got delicious sour bread, prawn cocktails, etc. Their ambience is reminiscent of 18th century England.BUT......you must come here for their Gulliver steak. It is the best steak of your life you’ll ever have, whether rare or medium-well.You won’t regret it.

still one of my favorite steak restos! They have preserved the place, it has it oldie vibe & that’s why we keep coming back here! No one does the spinach cream the same way they do so that’s still a plus. Price is good too!

My boyfriend and I chose this place for a special occasion. We initially scouted several steak houses in the area and fortunately found this hidden gem along West Triangle. It was as if we had the place reserved for ourselves because there were no other guests at that time.We ordered Roast Prime Beef of Ribs (Gulliver's cut), Rib Eye steak, clam chowder soup and Merlot wine. We preferred the steaks to have it well done and boy, each bite took us to steak-heaven! We had one of the most sumptuos meal and we didn't regret every minute spent here. Even their complimentary bread has its distinct taste unlike ordinary loaf of bread.Fair price for a steakhouse that serves quality beef! We even had a take home loaf of bread coz we really enjoyed the tastw of it (just be sure to consume it before immediately). We also loved their old victorian ambience and their fine dining style of service. Will definitely go back here esp for special occasions.

The prime rib was average, everything else was either disgusting or disappointing.

My date with my fiancee for 2019, this is one place you would want to have your cravings for steaks satisfied. Excellent service, value for your buck and of course, the complete gastronomic experience. If Prime Rib is what you’re looking for, you are the right place.

Just spent our new year's eve at Gulliver's and they did not disappoint. For small families, it's more practical nowadays to just dine out on Christmas and NY's eve instead of cooking grand at home.We tried their Prime Rib set- Petite cut and Gulliver's cut. Petite cut is 200g priced at P980 while the Gulliver's cut is P1200 for 250g. Doneness: MediumIt comes with Yorkshire Pudding, Baked Potato, Spinach Soufflé and Creamed Corn. We also ordered Ceasar Salad. We prefer their version of Prime Rib over Cru's. Their version is simple, classic and has no tendon at all. The steak sauce is quite soupy though. Not a fan. I poured a little too much and it seems like I was eating Bulalo soup in Mahogany market. 🤣 A1 always saves the day.Ceasar Salad- boring; I should've ordered the Gulliver's salad instead. Sides- All needs improvement.
