The only reason why my husband and I ate here was for its 4 star rating here in website. It was a Tuesday, lunch time, restaurant was half full but there were only 2 servers. 1 waitress was taking orders and the other waiter would take food out of the kitchen. We ordered the clam chowder (which I liked), and 2 orders of quarter sized spicy chicken (which wasn’t spicy at all) and 6 side orders (garlic mushroom tasted bland, garlic rice took forever to arrive and the okra never came at all). I told the waitress that their service is too slow and that we lost our appetite because of that so we decided to take out the rest of our meal. Then I gently followed up on the okra, to which the waitress asked “oh, it’s not here yet?” Anyhow, I hope their service and food improves. I will still probably try Gringo’s but not at this branch. Our experience here was traumatic.

Yummy food! My 2nd time to eat at gringos and it never failed to satisfy my hunger.Ambiance is good. BBQ ribs are so chewy that it melts is your mouth. I also liked their nachos which has a unique sauce, and also the Mango Chicken Salad.

I have eaten here before, the selection and taste of food was great; ambiance was nice. So logically, this would be a good recommendation as a place to eat dinner out for Father's day. To our frustration, we arrived here 40 minutes before closing, for the staff outside telling us immediately that they are only accepting take out orders, and no more dine-in customers. The staff didn't even want to queue us even if it was full inside because they said it was close to closing time; and this was with no other customers queuing outside. I am not saying the service or food is bad, I am just disappointed that the first thing this restaurant tells their potential customers is to only take-out food and not entertain the fact that they may want to eat in the restaurant at a day of celebration!

I will start at the interior, it's nice and cozy. light is dim, which is good for me i think. The problem is tons of mosquitos.Food - I like the variety of side dish but for me. Their chicken is a bit bland, nothing special. For tacos.. when it was served. I was overwhelmed for the presentation and plating and when i taste it, its the worst taco i ever tasted! The cheese? I don't know what kind of cheese they put in there. Not only it's hard but also have no taste at all. Parang swelas ng sapatos, Ika nga.For me its like kenny roger but pinasosyal.Staff is so friendly though. I will give 3☆☆☆

The place to go if you're craving for Mexican food! Choose southern spice chicken over the original if you're looking for an extra kick of savor. For sides, the best I've tasted would be their Mexican rice and roasted eggplant. Definitely worth the price since a quarter of chicken can be for 2 people already. The ambiance fits their cuisine and the people are really nice, accommodating, and lively. Overall, a pleasant place to get full!

I’ve always wanted to try Gringo for months now so my boyfriend and I decided to eat in on a Saturday date night. We were considering Mad Mark’s but then again, I was in a drooling stage..I got for me the Gringo Southern Spiced Chicken with sides of Mexican rice and Garlic Mushroom while he ordered Half rack ribs with sides of Garlic Rice and Marbled Potato Salad—both of which came with a (yet another!!!!) side of Nachos. Okay, so personally speaking, I’m not a Ribs fan. Although I have tried some better-tasting Ribs outside Gringo, this just ain’t one of my top picks. My boyfriend thought the same. The Southern Spice Chicken, however, is a jackpot. I love the flavor, the spice, the tenderness of the chicken, the sauce. I love that it tasted so well with just the chicken alone, but also that it was perfect with the Mex rice and the mushrooms. The lemonade was the second favorite, next to the chicken. It’s full of citrus flavor—lemonade plus kalamansi. It feels like i’m sipping through a glass of drink beside the beach. I love the bee-design glass 😍The ambience was a plus too. The dim lighting gave a sense of privacy and it calmed us in a way that we actually had a great time talking to each other. And it didn’t feel like we were being pressured to consume the food urgently. Oh and did anyone mentioned about the big ass wooden door?? The crew refilled our water glasses without us telling them to. Bottomline is, the service is good. The reason why it can’t be five stars:1. The nachos could have been flavoured better2. I believe the Ribs could still be improved3. I wish they went more adventurous with their song picksOverall though, I’d recommend this to everyone. I’d probably go back and even celebrate my birthday dinner here 😊

The Southern Spice Chicken was good and flavorful when paired with the sauce, same with the Steak Fajitas. The mashed camote was also good. Overall, the food was okay. Restaurant is on the pricy side.

I have no words except this is one of my fave restos. Besides chinese food, I’m also a fan of mexican food so for me to experience eating at Gringo’s is definitely an experience. I love their fries with chili and cheese that’s stringy and melting, their mexican rice and mashed potatoes. Omg every food here is perfection. 10/10

Their quarter chicken with 2 sides for around PHP 250 is a good combo. You get a big piece of chicken, and you can pair it with two of a wide variety of sides, though I noticed that most of their sides are a bit lackluster. I always go for the mashed potato side (consistently good), but the ones I've tried and got disappointed with are the marble potatoes and the okra. The chicken is tasty, but not exactly something I would call memorable and craving-inducing.Also, the store has a great vibe! Great alternative when you're getting bored with Frankies and Silantro in UPTC.
