The ambiance is cozy. But when we got there, the sign said open but it was locked. The server was speaking loudly over the phone. When he finally got around to asking us for our orders, he apparently only took one of our orders down and we waited forever for nothing more. I wonder what makes this place nice enough to have been open for 5 years.

We had a group lunch out today and this place did not disappoint. The place is very homey and comfy, with lots of tea sets with matching hats where you can actually take pictures and stuff. The staff is also very accomodating so you can easily ask them to take some snapshots. As for the food, we ordered peppered beef tenderloin, beef salpicao, rosemary chicken, tuna salpicao, baked creamy sole, carbonara, and smoked salmon and capers. All were good but my personal preferences were rosemary chicken (4.5) and baked creamy sole(5.0!). I ordered melon shake which I think was a bit pricey but was otherwise okay in taste. The best dish for me was the baked creamy sole which I picked (yay! good job self!). True to its description, it REALLY is literally baked to PERFECTION. You just want to eat more and more of it. I'm hoping that the recipe for this dish won't change. If you wanna try their best-sellers, I suggest you include this in your must-try :)They seem to have a lot more food than just those included in the menu like breakfast sets and lunch sets that are very affordable so we might check that out some other time.

I've been to Green Pigs many times since 2014 and the food is still superb. The service is excellent, we even held our mom's surprise birthday here. My personal favorites are their generous servings of Pork belly with mango salsa, Caprese dip, Baked creamy sole (which is better and healthier than hormone-injected cream dory) and Shrimp scampi. Their afternoon tea is also superb. I even ordered their Al Saif Royal Victoria 15-pc. Tea Set for my own tea party at home. I will always come back to this homey kitchen. :)

This unassuming restaurant along Sct Torillo in Quezon City serves tasty yet affordable comfort food. Their mushroom soup is superb and does not have a strong, earthy, truffle aftertaste. The mango shrimp salad is generously served with fresh greens. The baked caprese dip boasts a delectable play of flavors from the tomato, mozarella, and basil, which is topped off by the freshly baked baguette slices—which are usually served bland in other restaurants. We tried their best-selling roasted pork belly and rosemary chicken and true to its title, these dishes were an absolute delight to the palate. With its cozy ambience and affordable dishes, Green Pig’s kitchen is worth coming back to.

The restaurant is rather inconspicuous that, on my first visit, I have to track and re-track sct. torillo before I finally found it --- and it is worth the find. The food is as great as the ambiance that I already made a number of trips to this restaurant recently. First, I became a regular patron to their buffet breakfast which costs only Php198/pax. I enjoyed the tinapa, brewed coffee, sotanghon soup, tapa, garlic rice, among others that are available. Unfortunately, they have discontinued offering this buffet breakfast. However, in its place, they now offer plated set meals which costs only Php125.  I have tried their Kare-kare, Pork Nilaga, Beef Brisket among others which are served generously and can actually be shared by two. The food all tastes good and prepared well. The ambiance is also good where you can take photos or selfies of you and your companions having as background their beautiful imported teacup sets all over the place that you can also buy.
