What I love about eating here during lunchtime this place is so quiet and not crowded. Bulalo is fair enough and Calamares but I love the taste of their fresh buko juice..

Went to this branch of Giligan's for takeout. I have nothing to say about their food because I've been a fan since long before. However, a lot can be said about their cleanliness. The menu was disgusting to hold. The menu was soggy from being wet often, pages stuck to each other, and there was a smell. It was a good thing I already knew what to order so I didn't have to hold their menu for too long. Also, the sink in their comfort room was clogged and there didn't seem to be an effort to fix it, nor a sign to inform their patrons about it at the very least. It made me think about their kitchen, that if they let things be as dirty as it was outside, what more on the inside where people can't see? Then again, this is just me overanalyzing/overthinking.Probably my only good experience in this branch was Shaine, the server assigned to me. She was attentive, efficient, and pleasant.I will just stick to their Alabang branch.

The place is known for post - graveyard shift hangouts because anyone can order alcohol anytime of the day. But the food is not limited to appetizers as they offer several dishes if you simply want to eat. The question is if it's worth it. Compared to Gerry's Grill, the food selection and menu and even the presentation is 2 notches lower. Meaning, the taste and selection ia limited and is not really meant for dining. It's pretty much weighed on a side order with your bottle or bucket of beer. Service wise- they do not have any service charge. Perhaps that's the reason for the subpar service level. Gone are the glory days of Giligan's back in the late 2000s.
