Newly opened in this mall, one can find it at the Far left side corner at the second floor.Warning: never expect a good service on Sunday during lunch time.That being said, we still went 😝 not only once but twice, that’s because You don’t get much choice in the way of decent restaurants in SM Centerpoint. Besides there is nothing not to like at Gerry’s : everything is just good! From The house blended iced tea, To Crispy Pata, to the best sisig, to sizzling Squid, to Sinigang, to the ugliest looking dish Tinomok, which happens to be our favourite down to sizzling kang Kong !!! Gerry’s is 20 years in existence which means that they’ve gone along successful way from my first visit to their branch in Burgos Makati (not there anymore) when it opened. The quality of their food is still the same, thank goodness for that.The first visit was frustrating. I was with my Sunday School class of young men where part of the side lesson is overcoming their shyness and proper etiquette. I have already instructed one of them to ask for water and the other to give the orders, the other to follow up on the orders, but the crew just kept ignoring these kids like they have never heard or seen them call their attention at all. So I asked to speak to the very apologetic Manager Al, then everything went smoothly after that. My second visit, was great, despite the long queue, which is expected since it was really a busy business hours. I guess Manager Al recognised my ugly battle-ax self 😂 so we got served properly and all our dishes were delivered on time. The good thing about The Manager is the fact that he’s not only commanding his staff to do the works but you can see him serve and carry trays of food too. Talk about leading by example 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
