The many restaurants around Maginhawa, this is where we ended up going to. First of all, parking wasnt an issue and we didnt have a hard time looking for it (thanks to website), and to add to that parking was free and well lit. second thing good about it, the place was so spacious, we couldnt even decide where to sit down. The most important thing is the food. So as we were reading the menu. You would enjoy reading the names as they are fun and intriguing like; My Major Major Love Affair, Two Become One, Marry-Me Moussaka, Exotic Lover, Unity, Beat Sex Anyday, Broker Promises and many more. Though there were a lot of choices in the menu that were out, there were still ao many to choose from so we didnt have trouble changing the orders. The food was good but not good for the people trying to eat healthily. Amazing how we ordered 4 different plates to taste everything and paid only P700 only (thats with tip already)All in all, the experience was great and i would recommend my friends to visit the place with their loved ones as it is very romantic and cozy.

I would like to give a kudos to the chef! Food is very delicious but the prices are too high for the small servings. The place is cozy but there is also a creepy feel specialy when you go to the washroom upstairs. I recommend you go here during valentine's day, you'll know why.

Very witty in creating their menu. I liked the creepy vibe and the interior design. The foods are good but not that great. I mean, there's nothing special except for the place. Also, I think foods are sort of pricey for a small serving.

Having my diamond peel session on Matalino street one Saturday afternoon gave me the reason to finally try this place. I know GNM is very popular because of their witty food names, amusing design, and to-die-for desserts. Being a cake lover, it's definitely a sold idea that time.We got there around past 8pm and found out that pasta and some beverages were the only food being served. Everything else on the menu was out. The moment I heard it, it was as if a bucket of ice-cold water was splashed to my face. It was a big disappointment, but we still decided to stay. We ordered "Mi Amore" and "No Boyfriend Since Birth" pasta. I cant recall which one is the seafood pasta haha; I think it's the latter. Well, it was another dismay coz the noodles of both pasta were undercooked. The so-called seafood pasta only had mussels and few pieces of squid. The other pasta was sweet; I was expecting it to have that "Italian" taste since it's tomato-based according to the description on the menu.Pasta was definitely a big fail, but I'd still give the place another try. I'm really curious if they serve great desserts, and that's what I'm gonna have in my next visit. The good side of GNM are their brewed coffee, chillax ambience, and charming table setup.

We'd been wanting to try Gayuma ni Maria ever since word first got out about a quirky, love-themed restaurant with an exciting, sensual menu on Maginhawa. On a Sunday afternoon we finally got around to trying it only to be sorely disappointed. We were greeted with speakers blasting what might have been Spotify's top 50 as soon as we entered the empty restaurant and as we struggled to place our orders over the loud music, the staff did not seem to have any intentions of turning down the volume. Half of the items on their menu were unavailable so we just chose whatever was there: Rock me, Baby and One Night in Paris. The food was freshly cooked but was still nothing special and certainly not worth the price. The coup de grâce was the little baby cockroach that skittered across the floor under our table like a bad omen rather than a love potion. For a place with aphrodisiacs plastered all over the walls, the food was anything but arousing. Whatever they had going for them in charming interiors and fragrant hand soap did not make up for it. What a waste of an interesting concept.

Oh, Baby from Gayuma ni Maria. T-bone beef steak, and I wanted mine to be medium well. I wasn't happy about the taste, though. The taste was very plain and it's not delicious in any case. And they served it almost cold. I was very disappointed. 😩

Been here so many times. The place change a bit but the food are still mouth-watering. Recommended if you want a quiet place to make kwentuhan.

Very unique menu names haha. I love their concept but I think their food is kind of pricey? But the food tastes good so no regrets just love.

"Beats Sex Anyday"That is what this yummy moist chocolate cake is called. This cake is what makes me go back to Gayuma even though the last beef dish they serve me was tough. Or that there were red ants on their table that bit me. But this cake, while a bit presumptuously named, makes the trips worth it. I wouldn't say it beats sex anyday, but if you are brokenhearted or single and would want to binge eat on sweets and pastries, go and order one (or two?) slice(s) of this cake.

I haven't been to this place for quite some time now, but I'd really like to go back to change my bad food experience with them. There was one time when I ordered their chicken (I think the one in chocolate sauce or something), and it was really really dry. :(Love how the place looks tho. :)
