The comfort the a hot thick garlicky ilocos miki soup brings when you wake up hungry at 2am is unexplainable. Pair it with their special ilocos empanada and you have a complete meal for only 140 Pesos! Ain't that great for a Sunday morning treat?

I have been here twice since I was convinced by my friends that their empanada is a must-try, we went there after a long office shift and all of us were exhausted already. Upon arriving I have noticed their staff as having a not-so-accomodating demeanor given that we were customers. We placed and paid for our orders to their cashier who seemed annoyed at her work. The orders came in and voila, our orders got mixed up because they did not jot down as to who ordered what (me and my friends have different empanada preferences). What annoys me the most is that we had the outside seating and I went back in to ask for a pitcher of water, the cashier then just told me "wala kaming pitchel" and turned her back on me. I will never recommend this to anyone, for the food? There is always a better bagnet and empanadang Ilokano than what this place has to offer.

went here 11:30 am with my husband . We arrived After the heavy traffic and all just to get here from marikina. When we entered d resto no one's there. Until one staff arrived who hurriedly went inside d kitchen. We thought she would entertain us at once but we waited for awhile until the phone rang and was answered by another staff. after she's done with the phone I had to ask her pa can we order now? We ordered d Bangus meal and 2 original empanadas. She told us ma'am naubos na po yung  empanada! Helloooo!! Ano ba name ng store na to? Fariñas Ilocos EMPANADA nga e!and this is a 24hr resto. Of course i got mad for their irresponsibility and stupidity. I hope the owner will look into this. And of course we won't come back here.

If you're hungry and it's already past midnight, nothing to worry cause Fariñas Ilocos Empanada is open 24 hours. They serve good Filipino meals like bagnet or longganisa paired with rice, salted egg and tomato. You can also try their special Ilocos miki.

My go-to place for ilocos norte favourites. Prolly the closest tasting ones to the original. Try the criapy bagnet with KBL (kamatis, bagoong, at lasona) or their poke-poke (eggplant, egg, tomato, and bagoon) if you want a heavier meal. For a snack, try the rich miki noodle 'soup' or the deep fried classic papaya and longanisa empanadas.

When late night cravings are hard to ignore, thank God for Fariñas. Service is slow when there are lots of people, but the empanada is always good. I'm really happy with the ratio of ingredients.

One sunday afternoon we went a little crazy and instead of buying he traditional pancit malabon we got curious and bought the pancit bagnet. Our curiosity lead to a great deal of disappointment. The pancit bagnet was almost bland and flavorless it relied on the bagnet to give it a distinct taste which to our disappointment also was tough to chew and was as bland as the noodles. I would just have to charge this one to experience.

This is a tiny little restaurant with only a few tables inside. But don't worry, most people take their orders to go so seating shouldn't be an issue.I got the Super Special Empanda to go, and ate it later on when it had cooled. Still, it was good! Yes, it was no longer hot, and the crust no longer crisp, but I still appreciated the flavors and the sweet-savory contrast. They prefer it if you eat it hot of course, but then, I probably would too! This place has been here for as long as I can remember and they have remained consistently good. Sometimes I wish they were baked instead of deep-fried, but that's what probably makes them so delicious. The only downside for customers is it's CASH only. But overall, I always have a good experience and I recommend you check them out when you're in the area.

The place is very bright and peaceful on most times. Your food will be served to you faster, than you having difficulty choosing on their tasteful Ilocano menu.
