Hi Exile, I was the one who actually ordered the food. I really haven't tasted the food yet but I am rating you 10⭐️ for going to the extra mile. I feel bad for you guys that website is your partner and has failed to deliver the food on time. Btw nice car. I do hope you'll have success on your business. I'll tell all my friends about this. Hello Sweeties!I love dining out at interesting places. I was lucky enough to be invited at one close by, the Katipunan area. The place is not really hard to find, but you can`t find it since it is not obviously seen from the street. As you can see from the photo above the place exudes mystery.Exile means to be away from one’s home, while either being explicitly refused permission to return and/or being threatened with imprisonment or death upon return. This Exile on Main St is named after the owners favorite album by Rolling Stones. Like their other branch in Malate Exile on Main St Katipunan is tucked away.Let me talk about the entire look of the place. It reminds me of one of my artist friend`s house. The place is unique unto itself. The tables were formerly window panes or doors. The each chair has a special art work drawn/ painted on it.This is my favorite area. Colorful, fun and vibrant. A lot of myr friends would find this area perfect for a themed get together so we can gossip or rant.Exile is a place for students, professionals, artist (you can see by the artworks) and whoever wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The place itself is interesting enough to visit because of the ambiance. I will talk about the dishes they served after the break

Being in exile is a situation in which you are forced to leave a place and go live in a foreign place. This might sound a bit harsh, but there are times when you get that feeling to just leave everything behind and go somewhere where you know nobody or to place you have no idea how to traverse. Or being in exile may mean going to your safe or happy place and just be alone away from the noises of this world. And maybe, just maybe, you will meet new faces who will make you feel like you're not lost in this crazy life.

When one discovers place with a lot of arts and good food on a typical day, it felt surreal in an artistic and literary style. In terms of being artistic, I love arts in every form. Though I am not good at it especially on painting, I know how to appreciate it. On food, I love food that are well presented. I also love those simple food that catches my not so complicated taste buds. When you combine food and arts, it gives you the feeling of joy, excitement and grasping for more (food). So discovering a new place such as the Exile On Main St in Katipunan made me love arts and simple food better.

Compared to the one in Malate, their new branch is more spacious and can cater to more clients. Even though it is basically just one big room, they've divided the restaurant into three themes: Artsy, Sexy, and Black and White.First, Artsy. The Artsy Room makes use of old wooden door panels on the walls and the tables. The chairs are handpainted, each with its unique design.Even the owners did some painting themselves, though they didn't tell us which ones. I did have my favorites though, for example, the joker one!I love the idea of painting the chairs, since it gives the chairs its own personality. I wish I could have painted one too, not tht I'm a good painter or anything. Haha.On one side, they have artworks from different artists on display. Everything's actually for sale, and the proceeds? They all go to the artists, every single peso. It's Exile's way of giving back and helping the community that helped them as well.Next is the Sexy Room. The Sexy room is basically an all-shades-of-pink room. It's very girly, with gold framed mirrors hanging on the wall, and would you believe, shoes on the ceiling!

Found a dessert that can awaken your happy hormones (Y tu mama brownie). The brownie was very soft with its bitter sweet taste. Its bitterness compliments with the butter pecan ice cream. Exile also serves affordable meals. You can try their cream dory and their pasta.

Lovingly named after the owners’ fave album, “Exile on Main St.” by the Rolling Stones, this restaurant along Katipunan is one hidden gem. And I mean that literally. But once inside, you are transported to a different place. Yes, I was in exile for a moment there.

Last week, I received an invitation to check out Exile on Main Street in Katipunan. It has only been open for 6 months, and is the second Exile branch. Doing a bit of checking before going, I found out that Exile has become something of an artist haven. I also checked their menu online and saw that they kept their prices student-friendly, too. I loved how they named their dishes. I mean, the fanciful name Y Tu Mama Brownie just sears into your mind, doesn’t it? And nope, I haven’t seen the movie.
