Ordered the dumpling cause I wanted the fried sides. At the time they didn't jave any but it was still good. I just had my expectations set. Their milktea has always been good. I've been having snacks at ersao for years now since our place is just around the corner. My fave is their spicy squid. Sometimes I get mine delivered, but a quick stop with friends ia always better.

Have not been back to Ersao in a while and it has finally registered that they have a branch nearby. You know how you always pass by somewhere, but not really take in the environment? Due to the traffic?😅 Anyway, it seemed like a good place to get cheap dinner! It serves good food at a very affordable price, plus you get milk tea options to boot! No problem if you just want pica-pica or you want you opt for a rice meal, both are readily available...We each ordered our usual spicy chicken rice. They are pretty generous with the rice and the sauce, which are both great. Comes neatly packed in plastic containers/ sealed packages for the sauce. We tried the gyoza, which tasted odd to me from the inclusion of corn inside the dumplings. It was also weird that they serve it with te same sauce as the chicken. I wouldn't recommend it. We also tried their tea-- I got the Taiwanese black tea, a break from my milk tea binge from the past weeks. (Thai milk tea errrday🤤) It was bland; water is better. Don't get this, they have so many other options on the menu...Most branches offer delivery. We just kind of wanted to take advantage of the cool night, so we walked to get takeaway...

Food is good and the price is just right. The only thing I can suggest is to improve their service. The waiting time til food is served is more than 30minutes. Other than that, we love the food and it is a nice cosy place. It is also clean and the staffs are always smiling.

I had a nearby meeting for an insurance client. Since it ended longer than usual, I stopped by here for some snack, anticipating a one hour traffic back to the office. It was a good decision. I got Ersao’s delicious and plump steamed Pork and Vegetable Dumpling and an Iced Taro Milk Tea. The latter was quite a disappointment since it was watered down, and it had too much chewy tapioca in them. More than half of it was sago.
