I've been actually planning to try here for quite some time now and luckily I was invited earlier for a website meet up. I'd like to start off first with the place. The restaurant is actually spacious enough to cater semi-large private events especially for the schools nearby. I like the interior which is simple but classy in a way. I liked how they blended it with a touch of some vintage materials. I also have to commend the light fixtures that they have which is quite unique. To start off with the food, for appetizers we've had Mozzarella Sticks, which is actually big and tasty. We also had Twister Fries which has the ordinary taste of a twister fries, but what we loved about this, is the fact that the fries' serving is full! Normally you would get a basket of fries with only half of it. Here, it's full! The serving is what made it a winner. Now for the entrees, my top picks would be the heftiest of all which are the steaks! First pick is the Ribeye Steak, now this is a must to everyone to try especially for those who are steak lovers like me. It's thick but tender juicy, I love how it is so flavorful! Second, would be the T-bone Steak, for this one it is much thinner compared to the Ribeye but it is still a winner for me simply because it has that bit of a spice that totally compliments the steak itself together with the rice. Last but not the least is the US Blade Steak, still this one is tender juicy, though there are parts that are hard to chew. Amongst my top picks are Tutto Mare, which is a tomato based pasta with shrimps. Scampi, is a white based sauce. I am not actually a pasta person, but between these two I have to recommend more the Tutto Mare. We also had pizzas and these are Engine Special Pizza and Four Cheese Pizza. For these two pizzas, my experience is just average. Moving on for the dessert we had Hot Bananas and Mango Crepe. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try these since I don't have a space in my stomach anymore to indulge. For the totally of my experience, it is above average. Also, what I really love about this place is that they are not tightwad with servings. They also have 2 branches. Their 1st branch is located in commonwealth in front of Ever Gotesco Mall, the Royal Place building. They are located on the ground floor. This is now their second branch. I would like to thank the owner and the chef for accommodating us.

My boyfriend is a football player. After his game, we usually go to Engine 46 since it's near Ateneo and Xavierville. We enjoy their crispy beef tapa and T-bone steak. Unfortunately, they have changed their menu and removed our favorite Crispy Beef Tapa.

Tried this for the first time and it was a winner dinner! After a long day of foodtrip in U.P. Diliman we tried to search for a resto that would sum up our budget friendly kind of day. We found Engine 46 along katipunan. This is just near KFC. Their ambiance is cozy and price was reasonable and affordable. We ordered their Rib-eye steak. There's 400 (P700) and 300 grams (P600) available. We just opted to get the 300 grams so we can still order another food. Medium rare for the steak and paid additional P150 for their cooking charge. Another food that we ordered was their engine supreme pizza - which had all the toppings. (Pizza price would vary depending on the size) Food was great! I would super recommend their steak! Their cook really knows how to cook!!! Maybe next time we will also try their P195 steaks like t-bone or porter house or blade steak. 👌

We just ate here a while ago. In terms of price, everything seems very affordable considering a lot of those who eat here are students from UP and Ateneo. Food, for me, was so-so. I ordered the all meat pizza and my fiancé ordered their T-bone steak. The steak's gravy tasted a lot like "maggi magic sarap," but the steak itself was really good. The pizza, however, was a bit too salty for me. All in all, I'd say I'll just come back for the steak...no gravy, please!

Named after the famous fire department in Philadelphia, Engine 46 serves hot off the grill steaks, fresh off the oven pizza, and  scrumptious pasta.Strategically located near Ateneo's Gate 3, the place has become a favorite of students looking for good food. The T-Bone steak for instance only costs P195 and is a crowd pleaser. The beefy taste is all there, and the grill marks make it even more appetizing. If you are looking for something more indulgent, or celebrating the end of hell week, go for the Angus Rib Eye Steak. Ours was served a bit rare.(But like the Gilas-China Fiba championship game, you may also have it served "well-done".  #mvp #biasedrefs #hadtosneakthisin : )For pasta lovers, the Tutto Mare, (seafood and tomato pasta) is a must. I enjoyed how the light seafood taste and the freshness of the tomatoes played a starring role. From presentation to flavor, the Engine 46 special pizza is like an affordable version of Shakey's thin-crust Manager's Choice. The name Engine 46  might be a bit non descript for some, but once you've dined here, you'll associate it with good steaks, pizza and pasta.
