Went to Rob Magnolia and had merienda here. I liked that they seemed to be going with a Valentine themed with their churros being shaped as hearts. Really love their churros, especially the chocolate dip. Also had their sans rival, which was just okay for me.Ambiance was just okay, service was nice.

Just had lunch this june 4, 2017 with the family. EVERYTHING WAS BAD. DRY AND SALTY SALPICAO. ANDALUCHIAN PORKCHOP WAS BADLY COOKED WITH NO SIGN OF MARINATE. CHICKEN WITH SAFFRON WAS TERRIBLE. ICED TEA WAS TOO SWEET. THE FISH PESCADOS WAS BAD. MANGO SALAD WAS WET WITH DRESSING AND SHRIMP WAS NOT FRESH.I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OR EVEN GO BACK. NOT EVEN A CUSTOMER SERVICE FORM WAS MADE AVAILABLE!!

It's actually my first time to eat here even if they've been around for quite some time already. I always hear that their food is great so I was excited when the family decided to go here for lunch. I wouldn't say I was completely disappointed, but I was expecting more. We ordered their carbonara, tuhod y batok, paella valenciana, chicken in almond saffron sauce, their combo meal burger steak, madrelieno, sanzrival, and churros con chocolate. It was I'd say a hit or miss. The carbonara was pretty good. The tuhod y batok was very soft, but I find it too rich and fatty. The chicken with almond saffron was so-so. The meat was a little dry and I didn't taste the saffron; I tasted mustard instead and with a few almond slices on top. Nothing special. The paella is supposed to be one of their signature dishes, and it was pretty good. If you're not a fan of seafood though, you might not like it because it's topped with a lot of different kinds of seafood. Their madrelieno and sanzrival taste almost the same. It's just that the sanzrival's filling is a little saltier, which actually makes it pretty good because the salty taste balances out the sweetness. The churros, which is also a known dessert here, is okay. The chocolate dip is good, but without it the churros taste nothing at all. I find the texture more bread-y and a little oily for my taste since it's smaller than the other popular brand which is why it seems the oil it absorbed is more concentrated.

I honestly enjoyed the desserts we purchased from Dulcinea. Their churros con chocolate tasted delicious despite the delay in consumption. It was also very easy and hassle free to take home. I like the thick chocolate dip it comes with. Churros remained crispy, though I'm sure it's better when freshly cooked. Their sansrival was also pretty good, but I still like Betty's better because of it's creaminess.

I ordered their beef salpicao and calamares for lunch. I replaced the rice that came with the beef salpicao, to a side of vegetables instead. I loved the marinade on the meat. It was garlicky with a touch of sweetness. The beef was tender and flavorful too. The calamares had a crispy outer coating, which went perfectly with their mayonnaise dip. I devoured the calamares in a matter of minutes!Lastly, I’m happy that Dulcinea is already included on the Eatigo app. I got a 20% discount off my total food bill, which was a great bargain! I’ll most likely take advantage of this on my next visit, when I’m craving for their popular churros!

Great coffee, great dessert 👍 ambience was pretty. Tho' the airconditioning system is not nice. We were seated near the glass, asked the crew if pwede lakasan ac, di daw kaya kasi nasa dulo kami di daw umaabot ac. Yun lang naman downside nya.

Last night's Sunday family dinner was at my sister's house and she cooked a mean lechon pork belly and crabs. Since she didn't have a sweets for the night and it was still early when we finished, my uncle suggested we head to Dulcinea since it was almost just by their village. We just took one van and left the other cars so parking was no issue. When we got there we were lucky to have a spot for parking. The place was busy but not frantic, we ordered slices of brazo de mercedez and everyone seemed to have really enjoyed it. I'm not much of a dessert guy but I also think it was something I'd crave once in a while. It was only my tita helen who had a small side comment when she said it was too sweet (which I think most "very adult" people complain about haha) Well food was always too salty, too spicy, too whatever for her so I don't consider it s a ligit comment lol! Their service was optimum. Staff were friendly and was smiling. And the place smelled very aromatic and sweet. Like fried brown sugar or something. It was good, it was a fun sunday, and I'm sure I'll be back. Next visit, I wanna try their meals.

Dulcinea has been my favorite churros restaurant but this time I tried their dessert sampler. This composed of brownies, sansrival and leche flan. What I love with the three is that they are not so sweet. The brownies has thick chocolate and moist bread, the sansrival is like the typical one except for the caramelized nuts and the leche flan is creamy and fluffy.

Still has the best churros con chocolate. Not too oily, cooked just right. Spanish chocolate is also yummy. Service is reliable and professional. Place is quiet and staff are discreet. A nice alternative to coffee shops when you need to read or work on something.
