(May 13, 2018) First time to have been in Dohtonbori, we tried Ajitama Ramen, Tempura Moriawase (Tiger Prawns/Vegetables Tempura) and I love their famous Okonomiyaki. 😋 plus the ambiance, very Japanese. ❤️

Truly a place to experience a real okonomiyaki. It was amazing and worth every penny. One okonomiyaki is good enough to fill your empty tummy!

We had Dohtonbori for dinner with my family. This onomiyaki restaurant actually has a nice ambiance. A cherry blossom see and then tables with a hot sheet to cook in at the center. We had the following items:Tempura - the tempura was small and the sauce was cold, did not like it too much.Kalbi Yakiniku- serving size was okay, flavor was a bit bland as it didnt have the typical yakiniku sauce. Just the soy sauce on the side. Chicken Shio - this was good. Crispy skin tender center it was pretty flavorful. 4 cheese Onomiyaki - this was really good!! They cook it right in front of you, each bite was appetizing and you can add mayo or the sauce to your convenience as its just in the table.Overall, it was a nice experience. The only thing I didnt like was their rice, not so good.

It's been a while since I last ate in this restaurant, and I was pretty excited when we decided to eat here today. Dohtonbori's attempt to transport you to Japan with all the decor and the Japanese Christmas songs doesn't deter anyone from enjoying the food. It heightens the senses and adds to the experience.OKONOMIYAKI. I seriously enjoy myself eating this dish here. Today we ate the 4 cheese (with mozarella, cheddar, gouda, and parmesan) and the pork and cheese okonomiyaki. The staff make a spectacle of preparing the okonomiyaki, but you are free to do your own pancake flipping, should you wish. The outcome would always be okonomiyaki that's crisp and well-done outside but tender on the inside. As I was hungry, I asked to order fried calamares (ika fry). It was okay - I guess very basic and just like any other calamares order. The sauce they included there was a base of Kewpie Roasted Sesame with that spicy powder, but worked well overall. In other visits, I also had ordered the miso and cheese onigiri, which was also heated and served over the hot plate. That was an enjoyable dish, too.The boyfriend had orderd the Pork Stamina-Don and he was extremely full by the end of the meal. It was served with a fresh egg yolk on top, which was a nice golden color, which is very reminiscent of the eggs served us in Japan as well.Would definitely recommend for dates and catch up sessions for barkadas, for sure! Definitely worth the money and the experience!

Second branch I have visited but it has been 3 years since I first ate at their place at Greenhills.I was hoping that the taste is still there. And I was not disappointed.I ordered the Cheesy Pork Okonomiyaki and Bottomless Iced Tea. Their tea looked dense at first but the flavor is refreshingly good with just the right sweetness to it.The Okonomiyaki mixtured looked more solid when I mixed it in and it was less watery than the Greenhills branch. But tastewise, it was still really good. Nice savory pancake with a bit of creaminess to it. I could taste the pork and cheese clearly along with hints of ginger and the crunchiness of the veggies and the okonomiyaki sauce, japanese mayo, ao nori and bonito flakes further enhances it.Staff were helpful at all times, I did have to look for them since they are busy elsewhere but they do respond once they hear my calls for questions/tea refills. The venue was not too bust with just a few customers but I was glad I came here to dine in.Good job for keeping it consistent.
